The platform showcases comedians through a quarterly digital magazine SlapStik Comedy Magazine, SlapStik Comedy Radio, and online content. The studio is owned by Mecha Swain, Founder & CEO of Mecha Media, LLC independent media production company and the parent company of SlapStik Comedy Entertainment.

About Mecha Swain
[edit]Mecha Swain is the founder and CEO of Mecha Media, LLC the parent company of SlapStik Comedy Entertainment. Mecha studied Communications in college focused on broadcasting and journalism. She started SlapStik Comedy Entertainment in 2005 by writing reviews of comedy shows at the Funny Bone Comedy Club in Columbus, Ohio.[7]
