Angelina Kendall (born September 2005)[2] is a Brazilian-New Zealand model.[3][4] British Vogue has said that she has the potential to become a supermodel.[4]
Early life
[edit]Kendall was born in September 2005 in Sydney, Australia.[2] Her mother is Brazilian and her father is a New Zealander, however they are now separated.[2] She grew up in Narrabeen, Rio de Janeiro and Wagga Wagga.[2] [4]
Career
[edit]She was scouted in August 2021 through social media by Simone Hellicar at The Scouted, a Sydney-based modelling agency.[4][2] She moved to Europe in February 2023.[2]
Before becoming a model she was planning to become a doctor.[4]
She made her catwalk debut in February 2023 for Khaite,[4] that fashion season (Autumn/Winter 2023) she walked 17 shows and the next season (Spring/Summer 2024) she walked 27 shows.[2] Shows she walked in include Chanel, Dior, Valentino, Schiaparelli and Hermès.
Her first Vogue cover was the September 2023 issue of Vogue Italia,[5] and has since been on the cover of Vogue Australia,[2] Vogue México,[6] Vogue Latinoamérica and British Vogue.[7][8]
She was the closing bride for the final Chanel collection designed by Virginie Viard in June 2024.[4][9]
Personal life
[edit]Her native language is English however she is also fluent in Portuguese.[2] As of 2024 she lives in London with fellow model Renée Bellerive.[4]
