Dallenwil is a municipality in the canton of Nidwalden in Switzerland. It has a population of 1700 of which 6% of foreign nationality (2002). The area of Dallenwil is 1548 ha.

There are 130 local businesses which employ 500 people. 24% of this are in the agricultural sector, 31% in trade and industry, 45% in services.

The main sights of Dallenwil are: the ski and summer resort Wiesenberg/Wirzweli, the church St. Laurentius, and the pilgrimage chapel Wiesenberg.
