The Anthropocene Reviewed is a podcast hosted by John Green in which he reviews aspects of life on Earth during the Anthropocene on a five-star scale. Each episode is released monthly and contains Green reviewing two topics.[1][2] Typically, the reviews include stories from Green's own life.[3] Its first episode was released on January 29, 2018. It is produced by WNYC Studios and Complexly.[4] In a November 2018 interview, Green reflected that the Anthropocene Reviewed was "...an opportunity for me to get back to my roots. With the podcast, I want to pay careful and sustained attention to the world around me, and that’s something I often feel like I don’t do, especially when I’m on the internet."[5]
