New message to Engineerchange
[edit]Hello, I have reverted your PRODding of University of Michigan School Of Law, because PRODs do not apply to redirects. If you want to take any other action, take this to WP:RFD. Thank you, mwwv converse∫edits 17:43, 22 November 2024 (UTC)
PROD tags on redirects
[edit]Hello. I noticed that you added a PROD tag to University of Michigan School Of Law. I wanted to let you know that @Mwwv was correct. Per Wikipedia:Proposed deletion, Proposed deletion cannot be used with redirects, user pages, drafts, templates, categories, or pages in any other namespace.
I also wanted to note that tagging redirects for speedy deletion, as you did here, with a rationale of them being redundant is also not a valid speedy deletion rationale. You are welcome to nominate this for deletion at WP:RFD if you so wish, but in my experience, I wouldn't expect it to be deleted based on that capitalization/redundancy alone. Hey man im josh (talk) 17:48, 22 November 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for the info @Mwwv: and @Hey man im josh:, I generally stay away from this kind of maintenance, so this was new for me. I'll submit a RFD. --Engineerchange (talk) 18:10, 22 November 2024 (UTC)
Thank you
[edit]Thank you for referring the NPOV/BLP issue to the noticeboard. I usually just do copy editing and look for straight-up vandalism. This kind of engagement with another editor is new to me. I appreciate your participation. —Eyer (he/him) If you reply, add {{reply to|Eyer}}
