I have recategorized this, it pointed to itself! Now it goes under the "vernacular" Category: Seabirds. Consequently, extant taxa shoud be categorized a) according to scientific classification (they would initially go into Category:Alcinae until a genus category such as Category:Uria is wanted) and b) according to vernacular-name groups such as murrelets, puffins etc (which would all go into Category:Auks (note that calling Uria "guillemots" is quite incorrect. They are murres; guillemots are strictly speaking the genus Cepphus. But vernacular use is different; so they are also placed in Category:Guillemots) Dysmorodrepanis 05:20, 8 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
