Use of The as a name

[edit]

having a director whose name is 'The' makes reading some of the text a little tricky, I wondered if there is a manual of style way of dealing with that - perhaps having his name in full, (and not just written as The), or possibly using italics for his name to distinguish it from the definite article the. I'm aware that the capitalization of The technically is enough to distinguish the two words The and the, but if I struggle with it a little, I imagine it's worse for non native English speakers. OK I made the change from The to The Teng Chun, in the three spots. It looks a bit odd in places but it doesn't seem confusing any more. EdwardLane (talk) 11:22, 16 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
