He went back to the Philippines when he was 10 years old in [[Angeles City, [[Pampanga]] with his two siblings when her Filipina mother, Claire Gibson and American father, Robin Blake separated. His mother remarried. Jameson and his family experienced financial problems when his stepdad doesnt work anymore which he used to sell his stepdad’s ube halaya to his classmates to earn extra cash for his allowance when he was younger and does commercial modeling during his teenager years. Jameson was first noticed as a commercial endorser with various brands like [[Jollibee]], [[Coca-Cola]], Pond's Men and Bingo Cookie Sandwich. He was also named by netizens as "Bingo Boy" because of their undeniable chemistry with April Matienzo/Charlie Dizon in Bingo Commercial.

In 2015 after he graduated from high school, the 17 year-old boy made the decision to audition as teen housemate for the [[ABS-CBN]] Reality TV Show [[Pinoy Big Brother: 737|Pinoy Big Brother]] (aka ''[[Pinoy Big Brother: 737]]''). He got to advance but ended up not chosen so he planned to go back to his studies.
