Hi, and thanks for your contributions to Wikipedia! This is just a friendly little reminder about talk pages: when starting new sections on an article talk page, as you did [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Talk:Cultural_appropriation&diff=693356498&oldid=690317706 here], it's helpful if you add your posts [[WP:BOTTOMPOST|at the bottom]] rather than the top of the talk page so people can find them more easily, and so the conversation stays in a roughly chronological order. Also, remember to always sign your comments on talk pages using four tildes (like this: <nowiki>~~~~</nowiki>). Here's the list of [[Wikipedia:Talk page guidelines|Wikipedia's talk page guidelines]] if you're interested. Thanks, and enjoy editing! Some cookies to welcome you!

Welcome to Wikipedia, Kitplane01! I am The ed17 and have been editing Wikipedia for quite some time. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or by typing {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. I love to help new users, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome!

Just thought that you might like the cookies. ;) —Ed 17 (Talk / Contribs) 04:36, 28 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Re

Hahaha thanks :))) Yeah, in my life, Wikipedia has taken over the part of my life that online gaming would have occupied. Only four FA's and (hopefully) counting. ;) My favorite article that I have written is probably Design 1047 battlecruiser; surprisingly, it's twelve pages long in this Wikipedia book.
And I've been thinking...maybe I'll take 120 next winter. Not sure yet, but we'll see. —Ed 17 (Talk / Contribs) 04:28, 29 April 2009 (UTC) [reply]

Thanks for uploading File:LoranCoverage.gif. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

File source problem with File:DH-Comet.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:DH-Comet.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 06:19, 13 January 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Gump Stump (talk) 06:19, 13 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hey there, hope you're still doing well. Ed [talk] [majestic titan] 05:47, 29 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, I hope your classes are treating you well. For me, it's three years later and I'm still going strong! I'm stopping by to thank you, though—I've been using what I learned in your class to use here on Wikipedia. Ed [talk] [majestic titan] 07:04, 28 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Much thanks. It's nice to be remembered.

I see you finally made it back on here! Have you gotten to fly anywhere lately? Ed [talk] [majestic titan] 03:39, 17 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Also, I believe your edits are being reverted because sentences like "There are two internet cafes and two gyms and all recreation areas are equipped with satellite TV, internet and projectors and CCTV so they can double as briefing rooms." are the same as the linked reference, "There are two internet cafes and two gyms and all recreation areas are equipped with satellite TV, internet and projectors and CCTV so they can double as briefing rooms." Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Article talk pages

Your recent editing history at Cultural appropriation shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you get reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
