The sixth season of Psych, consisting of 16 episodes, will premiere on the USA Network in the United States in October 2011.[1] James Roday, Dulé Hill, Timothy Omundson, Maggie Lawson, Corbin Bernsen and Kirsten Nelson are all expected to reprise their roles as the main characters. The season may contain a sequel episode to the Twin Peaks-inspired fifth season episode "Dual Spires" (5.12),[2] along with confirmed vampire and baseball-themed episodes.[3][4] A musical-themed episode, previously expected to air during the sixth season, has been confirmed to be on hold until the seventh.[5] Production for the season began in late March, 2011.[6]
