RfA thankspam

A piano keyboard encompassing 1 octave Hello, Gloss! This is just a note thanking you for participating in my recent Request for Adminship, which passed with a total of 93 support !votes, 1 oppose and 3 editors remaining neutral. While frankly overwhelmed by the level of support, I humbly thank the community for the trust it has placed in me, and vow to use the tools judiciously and without malice.

Thanks

Thanks for giving a really thoughtful discussion at this RfA. You said what I hoped to communicate but with much, much more detail and eloquence. — ækTalk 03:41, 23 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'm curious what prompted this change of heart. If it's likely to cause others to think twice, it might be useful to make your reasons known at the RfA. Nev1 (talk) 22:58, 23 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

No thanks. I'm not looking to change anybody else's opinion. I'm having second thoughts is all. iMatthew talk at 23:05, 23 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, fair enough. Nev1 (talk) 23:21, 23 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You know iMatthew, you say that I have maturity issues but your ES thst you posted when you removed the post about the SPAM says the same for you...(just wanted to point that out there)--Coldplay Expért Let's talk 00:32, 24 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
a) I wish you were more educated. Please come to my talk page only when you learn to spell. b) Adding notices to widely watchlisted noticeboards is not "SPAM" as you say. SPAM isn't sending a two sentence reminder to six noticeboards. Go away. iMatthew talk at 00:35, 24 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Ok Ok sorry. I didnt mean in in a annoying way. I just dont really like it when you belittle me (as you constantly do). As for you wishing that I was "more educated", you didnt have to be so harsh. State a policy that says you can ban an editor from your talk page. If you can, I will. However, from what I've heard, there is no policy that states that. If there is, then I believe I speak for Spongefrog, December21st2012Freak, Coldplay Expert and everyone that, if you're going to insert "ZOMG no MYSPACING" crap on their pages with no explanation, then you can stay off their pages too. --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 15:08, 26 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Wooahhh

[1] Please - I've asked you not to SPAM this stuff but that was rather disproportinate to my request. Also "running to Jimbo" is hardly a mature response... If you don't like my removal WP:BRD but "fuck off" is not exactly the best way. Sorry if I came over as aggresive in my input but I really do get irritated by people using WT:RFA as WP:CENT. Seriously this wasn't about you, just about where to post stuff, and I am sorry if I wound you up with my responses. Pedro :  Chat  00:38, 24 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Running to Jimbo? I did no such thing. What I've done is ask Jimbo if he's familiar with the WikiCup, as I'm genuinely curious. Anyways, I forgot that Wikipedians don't care about it's content anymore, and a 10-month long CONTENT drive being advertising on popular noticeboards is a sin. iMatthew talk at 00:41, 24 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
No, no. Look - of course editors care about content - well they should anyway. But seriously - look at your own above - what has RFA got to do with maintaining articles other then protecting existing content via PROTECT or BLOCK? Seriously iMatthew i like the WikiCup, agree with the principles, but of all the pages to spam a "get involved" notice to? I think not. The wikicup is *not* relevant to meta discussion. Simple. Aagins, I'm sorry if I come over as rude but it is what it is. Pedro :  Chat  00:46, 24 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
