Revision as of 08:46, 14 December 2006

Please use:

Please consider updating the new articles list at the template which shows up at the portal's front page with your article.

Please consider whether your new article could be used for portal's "Did You Know?" or main page WP:DYK sections and, if so, propose or post it there.

Urgent announcements

Hidden Gems

  • The Portal:Russia/Hidden Gems is to list recently unearthed articles that cover Russia-related topics which have been (a) neglected for quite some time and (b) require serious intervention of Russian editors. It is an extension of this page, according to the Russian proverb: "New" is something forgotten for good. As a rule of thumb, don't add articles edited by active members of project Russia.
  • The Portal:Russia/Russian Expansion subpage is to list recently edited articles on general topics that previously did not cover Russia-related specifics. Unless a whole section has been added, please provide diffs, for easy spotting.

December 1-15

Should be another featured article! - Vald 17:11, 13 December 2006 (UTC)
I assume it should be Nordenskiöld Archipelago as the surname is spelled in Finnish and Swedish equally. --Brand спойт 19:21, 8 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

November 16-30

I did it some time ago - Samoylov. Not sure about Samoilov or Samoylov. KNewman 16:34, 26 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I suppose it does not really matter. --Ghirla -трёп- 17:46, 26 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
1. To expand.
2. To expand with not only Ossetian-sided information (special request for User:Kober and others to find somthing from Georgian sites).
3. To categorize.
This is a major topic, but I hold no interest in 20th century history and almost never edit such topics. --Ghirla -трёп- 15:43, 17 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

November 1-15

Baryshnikov competed at Montreal, I see. Shouldn't we change his name to "Alexander" before someone changes it into the French "Alexandre"?--Pan Gerwazy 09:39, 6 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I've purged the article and inserted the infobox. Hope to expand some day. --Brand спойт 17:34, 5 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
