CashOrCard POS deletion

Hi,

I see that you deleted the CashOrCard POS page as it seems to be an advertisement - I'm happy to rewrite it as you see fit as it was meant to be an informational article related to cloud-based point of sale and what new developments are in this space. Of course, full disclaimer is that I am indeed one of the directors, so therefore I really want to make sure that the article comes across as unbiased and factual (I tried to include external references as much as possible to support the facts).

Please let me know how I could rewrite it to present facts rather than opinion, and what specifically triggered you to believe it should be removed.

Confused

@Callanecc: Whilst the editor in question was nothing but disruptive, I wonder why you blocked User:Russian editor1996. According to your block notice, you issued the block under WP:ARBEE. However, it is not logged at WP:AC/DSL/2015 as such. What's more, the editor was never issued an alert per WP:AC/DS. Can you explain the reasoning for issuing this indefinite block, for no apparent reason without following the proper DS procedure? I'm pinging an ArbCom clerk to review the situation. You'll also notice that there is a blanket warning on the talk page of one of the articles in question that this editor edited that states that "Discretionary sanctions can be used against an editor who repeatedly or seriously fails to adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, any expected standards of behaviour, or any normal editorial process." - But, my previous comment still stands. — Coffee // have a cup // beans // 13:57, 13 February 2015 (UTC)

@Callanecc: I'm fairly certain that the one place that IAR does not apply is to DS. A normal admin action, you might've been fine with. However, under DS there is a strict procedure. You did not issue the appropriate alert, and hence this user could not be blocked under DS. Please read WP:AC/DS#Awareness and alerts. The talk page notice is not sufficient. Actually, my friend, IAR applies sitewide as it is itself a pillar upon which the entire site (including ArbCom) is built from in the first place. "If a rule prevents you from improving or maintaining Wikipedia, ignore it." (edit conflict)If you'll note, above I stated that I'd handle the forgotten logging situation. I did and provided the reasoning, as required, there. If I may ask, why do you seem have a cactus lodged up your ass? This editor was editing with an agenda in violation of the purpose of this site (and in an area covered by ArbCom Sanctions) and was clearly WP:NOTHERE to help build an encyclopedia. His being blocked was surely an improvement to the encyclopedia. Yet, you're jumping up and down about the fact that it was a particular block that was used (when NOTHERE, indef vandalism, or any of a myriad of other blocking reasons could have also worked).
