Welcome!

Hello, Maxval, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. your edit to Kazohinia

Hi, I reverted your edits to Kazohinia because they removed sourced material and introduced unsourced material. Since you are a new editor, I thought you might like a more personal welcome than a revert.

If you can find a source (e.g. a book review) that says: "The theme is a criticism of developed communistic society, ..." then it can be added to the article. Kazohinia is undersourced, so it could use your help.

Also, please give an edit summary so other editors will know why you made your changes.

Thanks! Kazo sounds like an interesting film. --Jtir 09:30, 19 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Diplomatic missions of Hungary

Hi Maxval,

I removed your edits to Diplomatic Missions of Hungary. You will notice that this and the other 180+ articles follow the same style. Non-resident accreditations details could perhaps be covered in the respective bilateral relations articles. Kransky (talk) 10:53, 1 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You removed my other edits too... I revert them. --maxval (talk) 14:00, 1 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

July 2010 /Personal attacks

Please do not attack other editors, as you did at User talk:Tgr. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you.--B@xter9 06:53, 29 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Under attack from Hungarian Wiki Nazis

This is my reply to Hungarian Wiki Nazis.

Inclusion of UK constituent countries in List of countries that border only one other country

Please do not revert the inclusion of the United Kingdom subsection in List of countries that border only one other country without first discussing it on the talk page. There has been a heated debate about whether these should be included in the list, and as a compromise they have been placed into a separate section. My personal view is that they're not needed at all, and this obviously matches your view, but please give us the courtesy of expressing your opinions on Talk before just removing them. Thanks, Bazonka (talk) 14:31, 17 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Bare Urls

Surely you have been in Wikipedia long enough to realise that WP:Bare URLs are not an appropriate way of citing references. — Blue-Haired Lawyer t 15:43, 20 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

OK. I forgot that. --maxval (talk) 15:59, 20 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Complaint about your edits

Hello Maxval. Please see a complaint about your edits that was posted at User talk:EdJohnston#User:Maxval by Nmate. You may respond there if you wish. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 16:00, 20 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, but I will refrain from any comments. I prefer to not be in contact with those people who are having a Nazi-flavored campaign against me. If they post to my page, I will delete them, but I wont have any discussion with them, as I maintain a zero tolerance policy in this issue. --maxval (talk) 16:10, 20 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Your 'zero tolerance' policy does not take precedence over WP:No personal attacks. If you intend to keep editing at Miklós Horthy you should be aware that admins have the ability to ban people under WP:ARBEE from participating on articles which they have shown they cannot edit neutrally. Your lack of calmness on the subject of Horthy is now on record. If you would like to withdraw any of your previous attacks, or apologize to the people you could have offended, that would be well received. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 16:18, 20 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I prefer to ignore that page in the future, I will let Hungarian Nazi-Horthysts to do everything they want. I hope somebody else will stop them. I see no reason for apologizing, as I was absolutely right. --maxval (talk) 16:31, 20 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Warning of discretionary sanctions

The Arbitration Committee has permitted administrators to impose discretionary sanctions (information on which is at Wikipedia:Arbitration Committee/Discretionary sanctions) on any editor who is active on pages broadly related to Eastern Europe. Discretionary sanctions can be used against an editor who repeatedly or seriously fails to adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, satisfy any standard of behavior, or follow any normal editorial process. If you continue to misconduct yourself on pages relating to this topic, you may be placed under sanctions, which can include blocks, a revert limitation, or an article ban. The Committee's full decision can be read at the "Final decision" section of the decision page.

Please familiarise yourself with the information page at Wikipedia:Arbitration Committee/Discretionary sanctions, with the appropriate sections of Wikipedia:Arbitration Committee/Procedures, and with the case decision page before making any further edits to the pages in question. This notice is given by an uninvolved administrator and will be logged on the case decision, pursuant to the conditions of the Arbitration Committee's discretionary sanctions system.

You have been calling other editors Nazis due to a dispute at the Miklós Horthy article. For instance here. Any further disruption may lead to a block or a topic ban. EdJohnston (talk) 13:51, 21 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
