Caspian, I am considering making an ANI report against you for disrupting wikipedia that will request you are indef blocked from editing. |
|||
I don't mind if you have content disputes with other editors, that is how wikipedia gains neutrality - however you seem to be constantly wasting everyone's time with useless reports and long drawn out dramas about minor points. If you wish to waste your time that is not my concern, I am concerned about the other editors/admins who are forced to deal with these pointless issues. |
|||
Please try to calm down a little and concentrate on your edits, rather than treating wikipedia as your own personal battleground. |
|||
thanks |

Meatpuppet?
Bouncehoper: What the crap is a meatpuppet?
Baegis: A marionette that subsists on a diet solely of meat and its derivatives.
Bouncehoper: ...How is that different than a sockpuppet? (also, makes me hungry....)
Baegis: Sockpuppets, of course, eat cotton products, which are severely lacking in nutrition and deliciousness.
Bouncehoper: How....strange....lol. thanks!

The 25 DYK Medal | ||
For your continuous WP:DYK contributions on various topics related to Korea, such as clothing, food, events, places, biographies, etc., I, RyanCross (talk · contribs), hereby award Caspian blue (talk · contribs) The 25 DYK Medal! Great work, and keep up your contributions to DYK! I bet you can get everything that is Korean on the Main Page, you just have to keep at it like you're doing now. Take care, and enjoy this medal from me. :-) – RyanCross (talk) 01:32, 6 October 2008 (UTC) |
Congrats Caspian. Perhaps you could expand Heo Nanseolheon I just started and make it no.26? The Bald One White cat 15:29, 6 October 2008 (UTC)
Came across it on my travels, I also have proposed a {{Korea-writer-stub}} as amazingly it didn't exist yet, (I mean how many notable writers could we write about on wikipedia through the entirety of history the mind boggles). Its a shame we can't clone you hundreds of times given the content missing or that needs developing for korea!. Worse even is the coverage of Vietnam and Burma we have on here. I was watching By Any Means (which I am writing week by week on here) last night and he went though Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Thailand which as you know is a part of the world that inspires me and it was just amazing. He rode in a rocket boat down the Mekong for some part which was probably one of the coolest modes of transport I;ve seen. Even the articles on the largest cities in Vietnam are barely beyond stubs. If only we could cover it all in detail like America and the UK and have rleiable and abundant sources to boot. I'm currently stubbing Japanese dams in the hope that they will be translated from Japanese wiki. Hope you are well friend The Bald One White cat 16:52, 6 October 2008 (UTC)
Exactly. 95% of the articles we have related to Vietnam above a start class are Vietnam War and likely to be written from an American point of view, however neutral it strives to be. Thats why I use wikipedia to explore places and culture which I don't know about or will never get to see. Sure writing articles about films and local places and that which you are familiar with can be fun, but my overall goal and purpose on wikipedia is to branch out in the "grey areas" of the world from a "western" viewpoint. Given the extreme bias and the ignorance of many to "foreign" places, this is practically anything from Tijuana down to Tierra del Fuego, from Cairo to Walvis Bay, from Ankara eastwards to Tokyo etc. IN places the coverage seems unbelievably developed but browse through most of the categories on locations in Latin America, Africa and Asia and very few of articles on even major towns and cities are of a good standard, let alone 95% of the rest of the country which is "ignored" as of now. The strength of wikipedia really is from the people who live or are aquainted with cultures or places in "other" parts of the world and are able to develop it from their world viewpoint. Given time, I anticipate that people learning English in the developing world who increasingly have access to to computers and the web will begin to appear on increasingly on here. The unfortunate thing is that most people who visit wikipedia use us rather than nurture us, so the bulk of the work is done by a few thousand people. If we could maximise our potential, we'd see things start to change very fast and wikipedia would start growing at a rate which would seem more in keeping with its global reach The Bald One White cat 17:34, 6 October 2008 (UTC)

Chinese shoes
A complicated subject to be sure. This is what I can dig up without too much trouble:
- 履 lǚ: cloth low-top shoes
- 屐 bǐng: wood sole shoes, "clogs"
- 靴 xuē: ankle to knee high boots
- 屣 xǐ: crappy straw flip-flops
- 屨 or 屦: straw or vine shoe-like sandals
jianlian (金蓮) is a euphemism for bound-feet the shoes for those feet are call 金蓮履 I'll do something with the hats when there is time. Sjschen (talk) 18:42, 7 October 2008 (UTC)

I don't really care about our issues on the article in question, I honestly believe that while we might each have different perspectives on the incident, that neither of us are trying to deceive anyone, we just want to emphasize different aspects of the article in different ways.
However, this new edit seems to be very different from anything I have read in the past - is it anywhere near the truth?

Featured Sounds
I have occasionally voted oppose, but I try not to vote too often (where I don't nominate) unless there's a point of order to bring up, e.g. where I feel policy is being misapplied, or in order to speed on things that seem fairly obviously to meet criteria, but which haven't made the quorum after 14 days. As a check, User:MZMcBride - wh I suppose would count as the deputy FSC director if we had proper titles - has agreed to make all judgements on whether things that I have been involved with get promoted or not.
More to the point - I think it's useful to keep standards a bit lower for the moment in order that we can achieve the critical mass that allows us to attract people who are able to raise standards higher. I've looked into the history of other featured content procedures, and it seems that standards will self-correct in time, but all successful Featured content projects had much lower standards at the start than they do now, and I suspect that holding featured sounds to similar levels before we get the talented people we need will only serve to keep featured sounds as a minority featured content process. Krugman image
My argument overall for images taken from the Princeton Communications Office (see also) is that on the office's site, under a section saying "Policies and restrictions", the only restriction relevant to these images is "Credit must be provided to..." I don't presume that there are double secret restrictions that aren't listed there. In contrast, it does include additional restrictions for certain classes of images: certain buildings and the University symbols. It also indicates a separate section of photos (not the one the Krugman photo et al come from) stated to be "for news media". It also goes on to say that there are other images available (i.e. not online) that do have additional/other restrictions on purpose of use and that do cost money.
I've emailed the PCO a couple of times for the brain-dead sure-fire absoposidefinite answer that a few people have been desirous of, and they have not given me one. - Keith D. Tyler ¶ 19:15, 13 October 2008 (UTC)

Quaternionenadler
Thank you for the message you left on my talk page. I would personally love to support the Quaternionenadler to become a FP. I first made the vector image as a 'key' to refer to the picture and the original, and I would hope eventually I could make an imagemap so if you clicked on the shield it would take you to the article for the state. As for the article, I would love to move it into the mainspace; however at the moment it is very Work In Progress, as all the shields need to be identified. If you could help, it would be much appreciated, however if not I would see if I could put a link on the nomination page, and then transfer it in a few days. Some more history of the eagle may be best, as currently the page seems only to glorify my image, but I shall begin researching that soon, I am a bit bogged down at the moment!--23230 talk 16:24, 14 October 2008 (UTC)

Hello Caspian blue, could you please explain your revert here more clearly and deeply? Thank you. --Valentim (talk) 22:15, 15 October 2008 (UTC)
- The reason is very simple. The two pictures represents both claims as evidence, and you deleted only one side.--Caspian blue (talk) 22:17, 15 October 2008 (UTC)
- Thank your for your response. --Valentim (talk) 22:21, 15 October 2008 (UTC)
- Hi! I'm sorry if I disappointed you. I simply do not understand your claim about the map. I took Kusunose was trying to be neutral by exclude the domestic map made by Korean. If the map should be included in the article, then a domestic map made by Japanese should be included too. I think what is rational is to add a map showing East Sea made by a non-Korean/non-Japanese person. Regards. Oda Mari (talk) 05:35, 17 October 2008 (UTC)
- (Edit conflict) I basically think the old domestic Korean/Japanese maps are not needed in the article. But if you do not agree. Then revert my edit when possible. You have a right to revert any other editor's edit as I have. Regards. Oda Mari (talk) 06:05, 17 October 2008 (UTC)
User:Nihonjoe's abuse of the admin tools: False charge for "3RR on The Sea of Japan naming dispute"
{{unblock|I don't exceed 3RR and rather have used discussion pages for my edits. I opened up discussion by myself twice. I only reverted twice for the article in question in 24 hours. However, Nihonjoe falsely accused me for violating 3RR but also blocked me for his mistake. When my edit was reverted, I used relevant talk pages and talked to the users in dispute, but why should I be blocked by the admin? Kusunose (talk · contribs) reverted 3 times in a row, but admin Nihonjoe who has charged for WP:WikiProject Japan and has some multiple issues with me in the past, only blocked for the false charge. My last revert was 6 hours ago, when my last edit (second revert in this 24 hours) was contested, I did not even try to revert the edit by Oda Mari (talk · contribs). I rather waited for her response for her revert. I think Nihonjoe has sought to block me at this time for his issue, so I request for unblock. I don't believe the admin is impartial for Japan-Korea disputes as well as toward me. The admin has falsely accused me of being a somebody's sock without any evidences, so I have protested him for it and everything of our dispute stems from his initial refusal to apologize his accusation made in public and continued insults against me. I have tried to have good faith toward him but he now blocked for the false charge. Please see the diffs and relevant pages provided below. Thank you.--Caspian blue 05:58, 17 October 2008 (UTC)}}
- These would be references for the reason why Nihonjoe falsely blocked me.
- All my edits on The Sea of Japan naming dispute
- 2008-10-15T21:48:22 revert
- 2008-10-15T23:56:33 revert
- 2008-10-16T00:11:28 new edit (there is no equal or similar edit ever before)
- 2008-10-16T23:10:47 revert
- All edits by Kusunose
- 2008-10-15T23:48:28 revert
- 2008-10-16T00:06:54 revert
- 2008-10-16T00:43:47 revert
- My opened discussions
So where is a 3RR violation? The 3rd edit was not even a revert since there is no similar edit for it. Moreover, Nihonjoe falsely accuses my last edit occurred past in 1 day and one hour for my first edit as gaming the system. I don't edit Wikipedia 24 hours a day and examine the time. If the blocking admin wants to block me for edit warring and blatant disregard for consensus, there should be evidences provided by him. Kusunose (talk · contribs) is not blocked by Nihonjoe, so the rationale is not fit to the situation.--Caspian blue 06:43, 17 October 2008 (UTC)
- Don't flatter yourself, Caspian blue. I'm not out to get you. I came upon this article while investigating something different by another user. You reverted the removal/movement of the same content four times within slightly more than 24 hours (a little less than 26 hours to be exact). I think you're a fine editor, and you generally do a lot of good here. However, gaming the system by waiting slightly more than 24 hours to do the fourth edit is not acceptable. As you and Kusunose seem to have a disagreement over the inclusion of (or placement of) this information, you need to work out your differences on the talk page first and then make edits once you come to a consensus. Please note that Kusunose was warned for coming close to violating 3RR in the same article (he only made 3 edits), so I was fair in applying this policy. If this continues on this article, it will likely be protected to prevent anyone from edit warring. ···日本穣? · Talk to Nihonjoe 06:12, 17 October 2008 (UTC)
- Do not insult me as you have done a lot to me like these[3][4][5][6] I made 4 edits in total, and one edit is not even a revert. Moreover, my reverts only constitutes twice in 24 hours. Gaming the system? You falsely said that my last edit was past a day and one hour after my first edit. Your bad faith is toxic. I want you to at least take it to the ANI if you have some conscience. I've sought for consensus, and you blocked me for your issue.--Caspian blue 06:19, 17 October 2008 (UTC)
- I've posted a note on ANI. ···日本穣? · Talk to Nihonjoe 06:30, 17 October 2008 (UTC)
- I have reviewed the edits more closely ad determined that I was mistaken in seeing the same image being placed and removed four times. I apologize for misreading the edits. I have removed the block. ···日本穣? · Talk to Nihonjoe 08:30, 17 October 2008 (UTC)

Hey CB. If you notice any other Korean editors with a poor knowledge of image copyright policies uploading a rash of likely copyright violations, please give me a heads-up. Thanks, Deiz talk 10:07, 23 October 2008 (UTC)
- Again, I appreciate the reasons why they are uploading images, and I don't want to "hurt their feelings". However, copyright is serious, and ignorance of this is not a defence. Thanks for passing on coaching tips. Deiz talk 03:26, 24 October 2008 (UTC)

- After re-reading your last post on my talk, I wonder what you mean by "I was afraid about the result"? A new editor who is uploading a number of probable or clear copyright violating images in a short time can be blocked for a short time - usually between 15 minutes and 3 hours depending on the circumstances - in order to get an initial message across and find out if the editor is communicative. This is nothing to be afraid of, and protects WP. An editor who is serious about learning proper editing protocols should not be put off by this. Deiz talk 06:52, 24 October 2008 (UTC)

Funny sockpuppeter: Michael Friedrich and his offspring D10 Spada

- D10 Spada (talk · contribs)'s visits here[7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15]
According to Michael Friedrich (talk · contribs)'s own introduction, he is a young Japanese-Australian.[16] But he wrote somewhere he has lived in Japan more than 20 years. After pointed out on this along with his "intermediate" level of English, he said he just lived 5 years in Australia, but his heart is still there.(lol) He excused that his sockpuppet, Robert Houdini (talk · contribs) is his younger brother whose behaviors and agendas are identical to MF. After his graduation from University of Tokyo, the most prestigious university in Japan, he said the alleged brother went to U.S to study, but the last time stamp on August 31 does not make any sense. Robert Houdini claims he is a half Korean living in Japan. But Michael excused that he has Korean grandfather, so is automatically a descendant of Zainichi Korean based on Nagoya. But he had uploaded many bashing copyrighted images of 2002 Worldcup against Korea as well as his very negative edits on the subject. He said that's why he can read Korean language due to his home environment, and learned it to know more about Korean culture. However, he alleged that kimchi, Korean soul food was introduced to the West by Japanese first just like ramen.(lol) To sum up, he is a Korean-Japanese-Australian with poor Korean and English ability as well as with having a strong anti-Korean sentiment. Nevertheless, two checkusers confirmed the mentioned two are the same sock. Extremely rude D10 Spada (talk · contribs) (of course, sock of Michael) shouted that "I'm no interest in you", but his edit contracts his claim.(lol) It is so sad to see that possibly a elite young man of Japan blatantly disregard rules here and becomes a troll.-Caspian blue 11:17, 24 October 2008 (UTC)

Greetings...are you even reading the discussion on the talk page before making changes? The lawsuit is not being debated, but the huge amounts of false and dubious statements. As well as the fabricated statements. It would probably be more helpful for you to make your comments on the talk page than “drive-by” reverts. Jim (talk) 00:09, 29 October 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for your reply. Your stated: "The article has caught my attention because you have been reported to ANI numerous times". If you take the time to read those reports, you would see they are from the same person (other than my recent 3R). They just happen to be an Admin who was resentful to me for removing his false and dubious statements from this same article. Jim (talk) 00:24, 29 October 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for the support. Jim is an internet bully. He is intellectually dishonest. I honestly believe that he knows that the material that I have provided is true, reliable and verifiable. I have been painstakingly explaining it to him since August. He has some undisclosed interest in the subject. I suspect a conflict of interest. Naksansa
Thank you so much for your kind comments about my Naksansa submission. I did spent quite a bit of time and effort on it, hoping to do well, given my experience. The fact that someone with your depth of knowledge, experience and accomplishments here takes the time to send me these favorable comments is greatly appreciated. I am also pleased to find that you feel this effort worthy of some recognition, although I am not familiar with this feature. I did read the WP:DYK entry (is this the "guide line" to which you refer?) but felt somewhat overwhelmed by all the rules and regulations therein. May I assume since you have nominated the Naksansa article that it meets these requirements? I understand that "Wikipedia:CITE#Inline_reference" needs to be embedded within the article but do not know where; beginning, end, or any place specefic. You will need to advise me please. With sincere appreciation Steve46814 (talk) 05:48, 29 October 2008 (UTC)
- Thank you for your explanations on how to use the inline reference tags. I will do my best to properly incorporate these structures in my future endeavors. I have a question about one word you added into the Naksansa "Revision as of 20:15, October 30, 2008' [17] in the ==History== section; "Naksansa was founded in 671 CE, by the Buddhist monk, Uisang Daesa (Grand Mater Uisang) . . ." I suspect that "Grand Mater Uisang" should read "Grand Master Uisang". I can find references to "Grand Master" but none relating to Buddhism or the title/ranking of Buddhist hierarchy. The only references to "Mater" found are exclusive of the term "Grand". Thank you again for all your gracious assistance and instruction.Steve46814 (talk) 05:21, 9 November 2008 (UTC)

Otello
Actually, I vaguely recall looking at an Otello recording the other day. Let me see if I can find it again.
Is there any rush on it? Just that I prefer to do them over two days. Shoemaker's Holiday (talk) 02:38, 31 October 2008 (UTC)
- Okay, having checked, the short answer is "Which aria(s)?" - There's tons of stuff from it. I'm happy to do a lot of work on it - I was thinking Verdi, Wagner or Donizetti would be a good followup to the Puccini project - but if you want something quickly, it would herlp if you could make some suggestions.
Possibilities include:
- any and all of these (we cannot use the restored mp3s from there, but most of those should clean up fine)
- Quite a lot of others. Shoemaker's Holiday (talk) 02:47, 31 October 2008 (UTC)

About "North Korea"
Hello! I’m from Mainland China. And I want to talk about the article “North Korea” with you.
If the relational things in my memory are not error, the Wikipedia has a rule, such as if a word is translated from X language, it should be written with its original word in X language, such as the word “China” in English Wikipedia should be written with “中國”, because “China” is translated from “中國” in Chinese Language.
As everyone knows, the English word “North Korea” is translated from the Korean word “북한”. So it should be written with its Korean original word based on the relational rule in Wikipedia.
You could leave words in there if you want to write back.
Blocked
I've blocked all three of you for edit-warring on Comfort women. I know you've had a lot of trouble with stalkers and abusive socks on that article, but in this case you do seem to be also quite stubbornly edit-warring, I hope you'll find ways of dealing with the dispute differently. Request reason:
So there is no 3RR on the article nor even 2RR, but WP:V, WP:CONSENSUS are requested core principals to maintain the highly sensitive article. I have tried to keep the principles but the two users have constantly blanked out massive information cited by reliable sources and altered contents with deceptive edit summaries (POV, unreliable sources, unrelated, etc). A discussion with one person who returns from his long-term break had no fruitful result (his rationale is "I only reverted to Sennen goroshi's version" etc). The other, Sennen goroshi has kept blanking the article to near vandalism because I edit the article per his usual habit of "follwing me". Therefore, I contest this block. Uninvolved admin's review would be appreciated. Thanks.
Decline reason:
Unblock requests limited to complaints against others are inadequate; see WP:GAB. You must address the block reason and your conduct. — Sandstein 21:21, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

- I have uploaded an image of an old gentleman I spotted in Seoul wearing traditional Korean dress. This appears to be a vest rather than the Magoja in your article. I see what looks like five jade buttons so I'm sure this is not a Magoja. I did not assign a Category as I don't know how to define this type of dress or if it would have any value to you in any of your articles. It doesn't matter if you're right, it matters that saying it doesn't help. Please trust me, okay? We will get to the truth, and we will settle whatever problems you two are having with each other. I just need you to be polite while we do it, even if you are right, okay? [roux » x] 21:02, 12 November 2008 (UTC)
- You can ask the question. It is the way you asked the question that is the problem. Please remove all the personal attacks, and please direct the question at me. You can, for example, ask: "I don't understand what the dispute is. Can Bukubku please explain?" [roux » x] 21:12, 12 November 2008 (UTC)

Thanks Caspian-- I suppose I'm just recognizing my actual "semi-" status, since I'm still poking around here now & then. I've just added a little on Song Il-gon's latest, and noticed that we don't seem to have an article on the actor Moon Seong-geun... I noticed that the film article, Virgin Stripped Bare by Her Bachelors, spells his name as Mun Seong-kun, Green Fish spells it Moon Sung-keun... so maybe we have an article started on him somewhere, but under a different spelling? Not sure which one to use... Anyway, this news article might help with such an article-- it says he was Vice-chairman of the Korean Film Council in 1999. - Hi, Caspian. You mean Reverend Moon Sun-myung? Yes, he and his "Moonies" are very well-known in the U.S. Or do you mean Moon Ik-hwan? His name rings a bell... I've heard it somewhere... but no, definitely not before I lived in Korea. Dekkappai (talk) 00:36, 14 November 2008 (UTC)

If you have any more equally well-thought-out suggestions on how I can improve myself as an editor, I'd be happy to hear them. I wanted to ask you what you normally look for when you are evaluating an Rfa candidate's prior Afd contributions. I can see why you would look askance at the Arthur M. Thanks for you kind invitation to join your group - I am afraid I won't be much use though - and I only occasionally look in and don't know many Korean things. I do think this has a nice potential for a good article. The picture and little and the extra additions you made make the article look much better. Many thanks (Msrasnw (talk) 23:13, 17 November 2008 (UTC))
I think there is quite a lot more in Ms Chapman's article we could use - and there could be quite a lot of nice links coming out of it I think. The picture is very nice but I think a better one showing the whole of the image might be nice. Best wishes (Msrasnw (talk) 23:19, 17 November 2008 (UTC))
Hi - I think the little entry is looking much nicer and I like the addition of some divisions. Do you think some headings like i) description of the image ii) symbolic singificance iii) History - might be better? Best wishes (Msrasnw (talk) 22:49, 20 November 2008 (UTC))
Dear Caspian Blue - I have added more refs inline as per your suggestion. It looks a bit "over-referenced" to me now but I guess that is want is wanted. Overall it looks a nice article - not as nice as my Youn Shim-deok one though. I can't find anymore information to add. PS: I know they don't belong to me - but it is nice to start article isn't it. PPS: my next Korean one might be to do with a "minor" building. Best wishes (Msrasnw (talk) 20:40, 21 November 2008 (UTC))

- Thanks for those links. Could you add them as much as possible to the article before I verify the hook? The second link (Sun, moon, and five peaks) is still not used in the article at all, and the first (The national palace museum of Korea) only once. There are still several paragraphs in the article with no inline citations at all, so you can go through them and cite one or both of those sources for every single fact presented.
- Also, could you add a section (before Features and interpretationn explaining what the Irworobongdo is actually used for? I presume it's used in theater or as just a piece of decoration or something, but the article isn't clear about that. —Politizer talk/contribs 15:34, 20 November 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for the update. I'm on my way out the door now so I won't be able to look more closely until later in the evening, but from my first glance, I still don't see a paragraph or so describing what the Irworobongdo was used for? —Politizer talk/contribs 00:35, 22 November 2008 (UTC)
- I am not meaning to be overly critical to keep your article from making DYK; I only try to make sure that articles are high-quality when they reach the main page—specifically, I try to make sure that the article that reaches the main page won't leave the reader feeling as if something were missing. You can call it "perfectionist" if you like, but notice I haven't been rejecting hooks because they're not perfect; I've just been trying to hurry to improve them while there's still time. —Politizer talk/contribs 15:56, 22 November 2008 (UTC)

Your oppose at my RfA
Thanks for your candor. I agree, as I have said elsewhere, that the Frank Kaufmann AfD was the worst I've ever behaved on Wikipedia. That behavior didn't come out of nowhere, however, but only after a the issues with Andrew Wilson (academic) and Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Andrew_Wilson_(theologian). Others have had negative interactions with Hrafn, including an ANI thread which did not involve me at all. My objective at the Kaufmann RfA was to bring out Hrafn's contentious and less than civil nature, without myself violating any guidelines or policies. I essentially set out to "draw a foul" from him that would undermine his credibility; for good or ill, I accomplished that goal in that AfD. When User:S. Dean Jameson told me I was over the line, I left the AfD, and didn't interact with Hrafn thereafter. This incident happened three and a half months and 5,000+ edits ago, and I'd point to my interactions with User:Tautologist as an example that I've improved in my knowledge of how to handle contentious editors since as a result of those interactions with Hrafn. Metaguide
What's this about? Who are you supposed to be biased against? Yours just looks like a list of all the other guides to me. I think it's extremely useful.
Incidentally, I read JayHenry's guide differently than your guide. I think his "unsure" and "unknown" headings are undecided or neutral rather than oppose, but you could ask him to be certain. Cool Hand Luke 19:13, 29 November 2008 (UTC)
- The candidates in the first half of the table only seem to get negative comments under "what people say", those further down seem to get both negative and positive comments. Not sure why that is. I don't know if this is what that other guide means but that does seem to come across particularly harshly on Carcharoth - most of the guides that give an opinion seem to be support, but the summary of comments sounds like a litany of damnation. 217.28.13.175 (talk) 20:48, 29 November 2008 (UTC)
- Sorry, but the section is being implemented after Lar helped me to increase more space in the table. I have no interaction with Carcharoth and even had never heard of the name until pretty recently. He surely has many supportive comments. Due to once limited space, I only summarized negative comments first. Of course, all candidates have good values (that's why they are the candidates)--Caspian blue 20:57, 29 November 2008 (UTC)
- I didn't mean to sound hyper-critical, I was just speculating on what that other 'guide guide' might have meant. I think your table is an interesting approach and must have been a fair amount of work. I have pointed out a couple of seeming inaccuracies on your guide's talk pager too though, probably arising from Lar changing his mind. 217.28.13.175 (talk) 21:21, 29 November 2008 (UTC)

As you see, I don't cast my vote for his candidacy yet, but I found ironies from Durova and your statements which I believe, strongly affect to voters' mind. I can't find the IRC thing yet from the user guide (including Jechochman's rebuttal at its talk page) and your page.--Caspian blue 06:53, 2 December 2008 (UTC)
- Okay, I already answered this a bit on my talkpage. See if that helps answer your questions? If not, you can ask there for more info. --Elonka 06:42, 2 December 2008 (UTC)
Hi, per Jehochman's request I've asked for a neutral clerk to move our threaded discussion to talk. Would be glad to continue dialog with you there. In a nutshell, by the time I weighed in on that recall drive Elonka's standard for recall had already been exceeded. I had stood by my recall pledge and resigned. Having a meaningful recall system is more important IMO than whether either she or I kept the tools. Best regards, DurovaCharge! 16:42, 2 December 2008 (UTC)
- Fine, it is the candidate's request.--Caspian blue 17:00, 2 December 2008 (UTC)

ANI report
Caspian, I am considering making an ANI report against you for disrupting wikipedia that will request you are indef blocked from editing.
Please try to calm down a little and concentrate on your edits, rather than treating wikipedia as your own personal battleground.
thanks
