Breach of WP:CIV

Earlier today you called me "bigoted". I am not happy with that remark, and I would like you to withdraw it. Regards, Gatoclass (talk) 15:00, 5 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Gatoclass, I have never called you "bigoted" and I'm sorry you feel that you're not happy. however in case you'd like to withdraw your bigoted statements ThuranX was referring to, Id be happy to withdraw my agreement with him and withdraw my posting accordingly. thanks for your understanding.--Termer (talk) 21:01, 5 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?" Gatoclass, your request proves you demand respect from editors whom you've demonstrated you don't respect equally. This is not acceptable. I've informed you on your talk page of my Digwuren arbitration ruling inquiry.
If you believe my assessment is incorrect, please feel free to modify your tactics. Remember the old Chinese proverb of you are who you appear to be. As I've also indicated, I'm not intending to continue to debate your motives or reasons for your stereotypes. You might consider working on articles and consensus where you don't enter with preconceived notions of an adversarial relationship. —PētersV (talk) 19:14, 5 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
P.S. Your allegation quotes Termer out of context and does not reflect his full statement, which does not breach WP:CIV, especially considering your complete refusal to admit any responsibility for your low opinion of editors of Eastern European heritage.
Phrases and attitude such as:
You owe an apology
For what? Stating the patently obvious? I don't think so.
carry with them more than a mere tinge of bigotry. It's an ugly word indeed. Consider that your denigrating self-righteous attitude of superiority might be an issue. You likely have a completely different and more positive perception of your mores and behavior--consider also that your perception of your behavior is apparently not that of others. —PētersV (talk) 19:19, 5 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Notice of editing restrictions

File:Yellow warning.png

Notice: Under the terms of Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Digwuren, any editor working on topics related to Eastern Europe, broadly defined, may be made subject to an editing restriction at the discretion of any uninvolved administrator. Should the editor make any edits which are judged by an administrator to be uncivil, personal attacks, or assumptions of bad faith, he or she may be blocked for up to a week for each violation, and up to a month for each violation after the fifth. This restriction is effective on any editor following notice placed on his or her talk page. This notice is now given to you, and future violations of the provisions of this warning are subject to blocking.

Note: This notice is not effective unless given by an administrator and logged here.
