Several reactions from governments, individuals, organizations, and multi-nation institutions around the world emerged for the re-election of Republican Donald Trump for the 2024 United States presidential election on 5 November 2024. Generally, most world governments congratulated Trump on his victory in the election.

States

Africa

  •  Algeria: President of Algeria Abdelmadjid Tebboune congratulated Trump and recalled the close friendship that has existed between the US and Algeria throughout history. Additionally, given that Algeria is a non-permanent member of the UNSC, he praised their bilateral efforts in international fora and their unwavering commitment to stepping up consultation and coordination on matters of shared interest and supporting initiatives aimed at maintaining global peace and security.[1]
  •  Angola: President of Angola João Lourenço congratulated Trump, emphasizing in his message that the results show how Americans have faith in the governance policies that will be implemented over the next four years in order to build a strong and confident future and achieve prosperity. He also believes that in order for Angola and the United States to enjoy significant reciprocal benefits and advantages, the two governments' attempts to establish a strong foundation built on "reinforced mutual trust" will continue to follow a similar course of action.[2]
