The Whisky Exchange is a UK based retailer specialising in the sale of alcoholic drinks. Founded in 1999, the company operates a website and three London shops, as well as hosting a number of annual drinks shows.

History

The Whisky Exchange was founded by brothers Sukhinder and Rajbir Singh in 1999[1] building on their family’s drinks shop, The Nest in West London, when their parents retired[2].

Acquisition

In 2021, Pernod Ricard acquired The Whisky Exchange from Sukhinder and Rajbir Singh[3]. The Whisky Exchange has continued to operate as an independent entity within the Pernod Ricard portfolio since the acquisition[4].

Store Locations

In addition to its website, The Whisky Exchange has three physical retail locations across London: Covent Garden, Great Portland Street and London Bridge.

Events

The Whisky Exchange hosts multiple events each year, including several London-based shows:

  • Whisky Show
  • Champagne Show
  • Rum Show
  • Cognac Show

In 2025, the company is launching a Tequila and Mezcal Show[5].
