Starting as a guitarist playing in the local CT scene of the early 1990's, John had played with area artists in the local bands "Reckless" and "First Offense". In the mid 90's he met bassist [[Chris McCarvill]] and they formed their own original project X Factor X. They enlisted vocalist Andre Vanchot and Tony Mei on drums to much area success including the self titled album X Factor X released in 1997. |

In 2003, while playing in the band X Factor X, a new producer came on board to work with the band, Michael Vescera. After working on that project a bit, Mike offered John the guitarist spot in the reassembly of the legendary metal band Obsession. He has been a guitarist and writer for Obsession since 2004. |
