Houssein started her career with Arsenal.[citation needed] On 12 September 2021, she debuted for Arsenal during a 4–0 win over Reading.[1] Before the second half of 2021–22, Houssein signed for West Ham United in England.[2]
On 7 September 2023, Reading announced the season-long loan signing of Houssein from West Ham United.[3]
