Kaaliyan is an upcoming 2024 Malayalam-language drama film produced by Rajeev Govindan and directed by S. Mahesh starring the film star Prithviraj Sukumaran .[1][2] The shoot of the film began on 2022. [3][4]
Plot
The film Kaaliyan features the story of Kunchirakkottu Kali, a 17th century warrior who lived in Venad. He was a loyal follower of the famous warrior Iravikkutty Pillai. Despite Iravikkutty Pillai becoming a historical figure, Kaaliyan remained relatively unknown. The movie revolves around the incidents and stories that happen there after [5][6].
