Silesia

There is the Discussion page there for discussion, better than "Edit summary". The WWII isn't obvious. Xx236 10:26, 19 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi

Hi. I didn't know what I stumbled upon when I went and looked at the talk page, saw a comment from this Rex character claiming that Westphalian German had more in common with Austrian German (??), and then wrote something on his talk page saying, "are you kidding?" Then I went and looked at what linked to him and then I read the talk pages for the German language article, and things got pretty heated, mainly because of him. Viz., that he would hear ANYTHING about any mutual comprehensibility or allow it into the article.

Just so you know, I am an American who speaks German pretty well, and have been teaching myself Dutch by reading Dutch newspapers and Dutch Wikipedia. No mutual comprehensibility, my ass.

Good luck.

Carlsbad or Karlovy Vary?

See Talk:Karlovy Vary for a vote. -- Matthead discuß!     O       00:00, 27 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Karlovy Vary

Carlsbad is a spelling of german variant Karlsbad, according WP:NCGN Karlovy Vary is perfectly correct. I think you can't imagine how offensive is renaming czech cities to its german equivalents. Or should we call Montreal as Mont Royal ? Do you have any objection against move Montreal to Mont Royal ? ≈Tulkolahten≈≈talk≈ 09:19, 28 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Argument that it is YOUR wikipedia is very unwikipedian. ≈Tulkolahten≈≈talk≈ 14:09, 28 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Don't play dumb, you know very well what that means. ≈Tulkolahten≈≈talk≈ 20:36, 28 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Tschüss. See that several bold sentences on the top of your talk page? Same applies for me. I said everything I wanted already in the voting. Bis Bald! - - Darwinek 17:57, 28 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re:"Revisionist POV-pusher"

Yes, I am sure you do. Now, where have I called you that?-- Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus | talk  04:04, 3 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

While there may be exceptions, such behaviour is primarily supported by a users whom I believe belong to that group.-- Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus | talk  17:42, 3 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
