Comment: If the author would like his image to be used on Wikipedia, then he will have to ask the photographer to release the image on a free license (such as CC-BY-SA-3.0), not fair use. We use fair use provisions when permission is not granted. And the policy is that fair use is not achieve by using images of living people. Comment: We cannot load pictures from your computer, can you please attempt to load it somewhere on the internet, or email it to me. Wikipedia will also need proof that it is PD-author, particularly if you don't know who took the picture, this will need evidence. The evidence instead could show that it PD because of age, if it was published before 1923, or if the photo is over 100 years old. If the son is young this may be the proof we need. Hi there, I was trying to verify that this is the logo, what you have is more like a promo image. The logo I see is a black phonograph on top of an amber 50. I'm not sure if its the logo, or a promo or what. I just saw the original in one of the image cleanup categories and decided to fix it. I was actually going to fix more of the images in the cat, until I realised I can't upload new pics. Oh, and substing my sig is probably not a good idea, there's actually a switch in that template that picks from a bunch of the jokers different alias's.
