Your contributed article, Thrillopolis
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Thrillopolis. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Themeparks LLC. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Themeparks LLC – you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.
If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Quasar G t - c 19:12, 26 March 2017 (UTC)

editHello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Mae Beavers, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Jim1138 (talk) 04:14, 29 May 2017 (UTC)
Hello, RadicalKid78. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Krisle Elementary School, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:
- edit the page
- remove the text that looks like this:
{{proposed deletion/dated...}}
- save the page
Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.
Speedy deletion nomination of Randy Boyd (Tennessee)
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Randy Boyd (Tennessee) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will allow you to make your case on the talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. reddogsix (talk) 04:02, 29 June 2017 (UTC)

The article Bill Lee, Businessman has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
no evidence of actual notability
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. DGG ( talk ) 00:59, 5 December 2017 (UTC)

I noticed your recent edit to United States Senate elections, 2018 does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summaries generally not provided
editIn November 2018, another editor suggested that you add edit summaries to your edits. You do that occasionally, but mostly not. It's not mandatory (obviously), but adding edit summaries is very helpful to other editors. And it will reduce the number of times that your edits are reverted. For example, I just reverted this edit because you didn't explain why you thought one image was better than the other. -- John Broughton (♫♫) 21:15, 25 August 2019 (UTC)
Summit High School (Tennessee) moved to draftspace
editAn article you recently created, Summit High School (Tennessee), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). Request reason:
When the edits were made to the Donald Trump and Divine right of kings, I did not create the vandalism, and it was commited by another person who edited the articles when I was not present, this kind of offense hasn't happened in the past. This can be shown because of the numerous contributions I have added to the English Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons, as I have written numerous articles and contributed many original photos to Wikimedia Commons.
Decline reason:
You need to understand that you are responsible for edits made under your username. That includes safeguarding your computer and your log-on information so that no one else can edit in your name. Please explain what steps you will take to make sure this does not happen again. MelanieN (talk) 18:18, 11 November 2019 (UTC)

The article Caleb Hemmer has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Silikonz💬 01:46, 11 February 2023 (UTC)

Bernie Moreno
editHello BlueShirtz. Please do not delete the word rights from the section regarding Moreno's political position because it might cause confusion. The section needs to be titled LGBT rights as it details his stance on the civil rights of the LGBT community. Calling it just LGBT would imply that this is his personal opinion of LGBT individuals as opposed to his stance as a politician. Also, the use of the word issue would give the section an unnecessary negative connotation. The word rights is much more neutral since it refers to civil rights. Radiohist (talk) 11:48, 28 March 2024 (UTC)
- The section itself only mentions that in the mid-2010s his businesses sponsored the 2014 Gay Games, that he has a son who is gay, and during his present campaign "accused LGBT activists of advancing a radical agenda of indoctrination." So I don't understand why the section shouldn't be titled "LGBT." As far as the personal opinion vs. opinion as a politician point goes, those would be considered the same. I guess some people think that Moreno changed his position on these topics to sound more appealing during an election year, but so far that theory is unfounded. It could just be that over the past decade his views on the subject have changed. So I don't understand the distinction if there is one. BlueShirtz (talk) 17:43, 28 March 2024 (UTC)
- I wholeheartedly disagree. Every single thing in his page reflect his political stances, since he is a politician. Whatever he said refers to the civil rights of LGBT people. Radiohist (talk) 18:26, 28 March 2024 (UTC)
- What the section is about is his activities and his opinions surrounding the LGBT community. I still don't understand the difference between his personal beliefs and his political beliefs. BlueShirtz (talk) 18:32, 28 March 2024 (UTC)
- I started a discussion on the Bernie Moreno talk page about this topic. BlueShirtz (talk) 01:33, 29 March 2024 (UTC)

March 2024
editHi BlueShirtz! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Bernie Moreno several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.
All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Bernie Moreno, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. Remsense诉 18:34, 28 March 2024 (UTC)

Introduction to contentious topics
editYou have recently edited a page related to post-1992 politics of the United States and closely related people, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

Concerned about right-wing push edits
editHello,
I am concerned that several of your edits, such as at the 2024 debate article, push a right-wing point of view pbp 01:19, 3 October 2024 (UTC)
- I am not pushing any political point of view. I think you're referring to the Tiananmen Square sentence specifically because you removed that from the article, and I added that sentence because it of its significance. Several news outlets such as CNN, NPR, and The New York Times wrote articles about that specific exchange, so I don't understand why adding it to the article would be giving it "undue weight." BlueShirtz (talk) 01:35, 3 October 2024 (UTC)
- It appears from scrolling up that I'm not the only one concerned about your viewpoint pbp 01:53, 3 October 2024 (UTC)
- Could you be more specific in what you are referring to? BlueShirtz (talk) 02:52, 3 October 2024 (UTC)
- Since Jan 1, 2023, your edits at the 2024 debates, Bernie Moreno, Justin Jones, and whatever got you a contentious topic warning. pbp 04:04, 3 October 2024 (UTC)
- Ok I'll go over the specific ones you mentioned:
- 2024 debates: See my first comment in this section
- Bernie Moreno: I didn't think the title "LGBT rights" section made sense on the Bernie Moreno article being that the section was only about Moreno's opinions and activities surrounding the LGBT community. I took that discussion to the Bernie Moreno talk page and other editors agreed that the title should be changed.
- Justin Jones: Jones was expelled from the TN House in April 2023 and I was watching coverage of the expulsion vote. When I tuned in to watch, I mistakenly thought he had already been voted out of office and so I made an edit saying his term had ended. I realized the vote hadn't happened yet, and before I could change it someone had reverted the edit.
- If you want to talk about my edit history as a whole though I have made many articles for different U.S. elections, as well as both Democrat and Republican politicians. But as I said earlier, I'm not pushing any personal political agenda through my edits, and I'm still not sure how the 2024 debates edit was "pushing a right-wing point of view."
