VK2GWK - my user name on Wikipedia and many other sites and fora - stands for the radio call sign of Henk Tobbe. I am a retired lawyer and worked in the insurance and reinsurance industry. My main hobiies - and field of expertise - is in amateur radio and photography. I was born and raised in the Netherland, worked there till 1999 and then retired to NSW Australia. I am a keen photographer of wildlife and people - is there a difference? - since the early 1960's and have also 50 years experience as an amateur radio operator - mainly on the HF (high frequency = 1.8 - 30 MC) bands. My photographic equipment evolved from analog SLR, point and shoot to a professional Canon DSLR with a range of lenses. In amateur radio I own a first class transceiver (Yeasu FT-2000) with an amplifier and various wire and yagi antennas. I speak, read and write fluent Dutch and English, speak, read and write passable German and have a little bit of French and Latin.
