I doubt the categorizing of this article. To the best of my knowledge, stanitsa is a village of only Russian and Russified Cossacks, not Ukrainian. Khutir may be a similar Ukrainian term/notion. Ukrained13:17, 4 December 2005 (UTC)Reply
I agree. "Stanitsa" should not be used to refer to Cossacks(which is a romanization of Ukrainian word "козак"). It suits russian cassacks(“казак“) more. ZlyyBandera (talk) 03:56, 10 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
