Hi Jarrahtree,

edit

Thanks for the warm welcome and all the useful links. I'm definitely still finding my way around so this is all going to be very handy.

I have questions about the Module:Coordinates. Strange things happen when I do infoboxes in Australian places!

It would have helped if you had provided more context such as the page and what exactly the "strange things" are. I assume you mean the red "{{#coordinates:}}: cannot have more than one primary tag per page" tag here? That was the result of having two sets of coordinates on the page; it was fixed here. If that wasn't what you meant, please describe the problem in greater detail. Huon (talk) 14:12, 14 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
Sorry Huon, I should have been more specific, but you found the issue. I assume, therefore, that it's better to have the co-ords in the infobox so that it comes up in the infobox and at the top right of the article rather than putting the coordinates tag at the end of the article TrisRyall (talk) 11:40, 15 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
Putting the coordinates in the infobox also adds them to the top right. Putting the coordinate tag at the end of the article only adds them to the top. Doing both, however, leads to a collision between the two attempts at putting coordinates at the top and thus generates the error message. So when you put them in the infobox you can (and should) remove them from the bottom of the article without a loss of information. Huon (talk) 21:16, 15 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
