• This is a list of fictional stories from the 'Buffyverse' ordered chronologically. Buffyverse is a term coined by fans of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel to refer to the shared fictional universe in which they are set. The term has since been used in the titles of published works.

• This is the first of three parts of the chronology, and contains the tales that take place in the fictional narrative before Buffy Season 1, during Buffy Season 1 itself, and during Buffy Season 2.

Overview

The chronology may also be used to see how Buffy and Angel episodes can be viewed in order so that crossovers and references function correctly. All the stories considered 'canon' are bold. Many of the items on this list are not considered canon. For a canon chronology, see here. Each story listed belongs on one of the following categories:
