Ammon News - Government Communication Minister Mohammad Momani, affirmed that Jordan's progressive stance should be a source of pride for all Jordanians, as Jordan has established all available tools to provide relief to the Palestinian people diplomatically, militarily, and through relief and humanitarian aid.

In a press statements on Thursday, Momani said that any behavior that diverts the compass from this advanced and courageous position is in no one's interest except those who are lurking in Jordan and want to inflict more suffering on the Palestinian people.

Momani pointed out that the unanimous adoption by the Executive Board of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) during its 221st session in Paris today of a resolution on the Old City of Jerusalem and its walls under the heading "occupied Palestine" is one of the political battles Jordan has fought.

The Minister also indicated that the Jordanian position has clear, fundamental elements: the need to halt the aggression on Gaza, stop the starvation, allow aid into the Strip, and establish the Palestinians on their land as a pivotal point for granting them the right to self-determination.
