αQED, eff (s) for precision physics at the FCC-ee/ILC

Discovering the ‘physics behind precision’ at future linear or circular colliders (ILC or FCC projects) requires improved SM predictions based on more precise input parameters. I will review the role of αQED, eff at future collider energies and report on possible progress based on results from low-energy machines.
