At resolvent, we simplified the task of estimating time on large modelling projects – to estimate time on building a small Lego model. We had fun and good discussions on how the complexity of the project influences our ability to estimate the time needed for completing it, and what significance previous experience has on: ● Following a Lego methodology ● Building the models ● Quality of the final project ● Building the same model more than once ● Having ten thumbs 😉 Have a nice weekend! #modelling #lego #simulation #multiphysics #ProjectManagement #TimeEstimation #ModellingProjects #LegoMethodology #TeamBuilding

It is a pleasure to welcome Kasper Skindhøj Larsen to the #resolvent team! Kasper combines expert simulation and mechanical knowledge to solve complex Multiphysics problems. He has in depth experience in numerical simulation within #COMSOL Multiphysics and other tools. Furthermore, Kasper has experience in hybrid simulations/ digital twins, scripting and programming in #MATLAB and #Python, to assist simulation and modelling. Before joining resolvent, Kasper has work for international companies and consultancies within mechanical simulation and design departments. #Team #Multiphysics

One of the big events of the year is coming up. The #COMSOL Conference 2024 in Florence is bringing together engineers, scientists, researchers, and managers for a 3-day in-person modelling and simulation event. This year we are even more excited, as we have a team of 3 going (Martin Refslund Nielsen, André Gugele Steckel and Thomas Bisgaard) delivering one of the keynotes, which will be about battery lifetime simulation and optimization. We can’t wait to present a new powerful technique for accurate prediction of degradation in every single cell over time and how it depends on the full system design and operating strategy. Are you attending? Please let us know if you want to meet at the conference. Have a great weekend! The work is conducted in collaboration with our great partners in the #LaserBATMAN project; DTU Construct, University of Skövde, Volvo Trucks and Aurobay Sweden, funded by Vinnova and Innovation Fund Denmark. #knowledgesharing #multiphysics #greenenergy https://lnkd.in/dpRnDV36

Last week we participated in the 5th Hydrogen & P2X Conference in Copenhagen, arranged by Fortes Media Group. Two fruitful days with great networking and inspiring presentations. Thank you Eva Ravn Nielsen for steering us safely through the days and Samantha J. Phillips for mentioning #Resolvent from the stage - highlighting how Dynelectro has used the models we have developed during our collaboration for further optimization of the demonstration unit. See you next time! #Hydrogen #Multiphysics #GreenEnergy

“Optimisation of laser welding between busbars and battery tabs and its impact on battery pack performance” The #LaserBATMAN project brought it’s members together again – this time in Skövde, Sweden. We met at University of Skövde, where we shared results and discussed progress update and coordination of the next activities. On day two we enjoyed an inspiring tour in the nearby ASSAR Industrial Innovation Arena which included live demonstrations of the laser welding process. A big thanks to Professor Kent Salomonsson for organizing the project meeting at HIS and Andreas Lassila the laser welding demonstration. Also, a warm thank you to the project team for, yet again, making the meeting both technically fruitful and fun. Kent Salomonsson, Wei Wang, Amena Darwish, Goran Ljustina, Mostafa Kermani, Chris Valentin Nielsen, Akash Meena, Thomas Bisgaard, Lene Gottrup Barfod, and André Gugele Steckel. The project is funded by M-era an EU funded network for research and innovation on materials and battery technologies, supporting the European Green Deal. Local support by Vinnova and Innovation Fund Denmark. And the project partners are: DTU Construct, the University of Skövde, Volvo Trucks, Aurobay Sweden, resolvent. #Multiphysics #COMSOL #BatteryManagement #electrification
