About Us
The DIA Museum Shop is a specialized gift shop featuring merchandise inspired by the collection of the Detroit Institute of Arts. The shop's selection is constantly evolving, with new items being added weekly.
Of special interest are items based on the DIA's collection ranging from small items like socks and magnets to statement pieces such as wallpaper or wall art from our dedicated Custom Print Shop. You will also find an eclectic mix of apparel, jewelry and accessories, well-designed items for your home or office and award-winning gifts and books for children. For bibliophiles, the DIA Shop stocks an incredible array of art books as well as special exhibition catalogs and books published by the DIA.
The Detroit Institute of Arts is among the top five encyclopedic art museums in the United States, with a world-class collection of 65,000 objects that explore history and culture that can’t be found in books, television or the internet.
From the first Van Gogh painting to enter a U.S. museum (Self-Portrait, 1887), to Diego Rivera's world-renowned Detroit Industry murals (1932–33), the DIA's collection is known for its quality, range and depth. The DIA’s mission is to create opportunities for all visitors to find personal meaning in art.
