Whoopi Goldberg has some grand plans for Donald Trump. While discussing the former president’s hush money trial on this morning’s episode of The View, Goldberg dabbled in a little “wishful thinking” when she wondered which jail would be the most deserving of the one-term POTUS.

Her speculation began after the panel’s legal expert Sunny Hostin said she thinks Trump should get jail time for violating his gag order as a way for the judge to “prove a point.”

“You cannot let Donald Trump be a runaway train in that court room. It’s not his court room, it’s the judge’s court room,” Hostin said. “And so I think to make a point, to prove a point, put him in the clink!”

To say the suggestion excited Goldberg would be an understatement. The co-host immediately interjected, waving her hand in the air and telling the panel, “I don’t want this to sound like I’m doing wishful thinking, but which prison would be best?”

Hostin quickly replied, “I know which one. Rikers!” and Goldberg was right on the same page, replying, “That’s No. 1!”

Now it was Hostin’s turn to get gleeful. She bounced up and down in her chair at the suggestion of Trump landing in the notorious New York jail, even sticking her tongue out and grinning while pointing to the audience.

Goldberg then continued, “But, you know, I’m OK if he goes to Alcatraz and they re-open it,” before asking Hostin, “What about Guantanamo Bay?” which prompted Ana Navarro to quip, “Oh, that’d be close to Mar-a-Lago. Melania [Trump] can come and visit.”

And Goldberg wasn’t done there. She suggested, “What about Supermax? Supermax would be interesting. El Chapo was in Supermax. Hey now, he wants to be with the hip people, come on!”

Waving her notecard in front of her, she told the audience, “These are my suggestions. Just in case anybody wants to know.”
