Lindsay Lohan is back on the Disney lot and our lives are complete. The actress, who’s currently filming the long-awaited Freaky Friday sequel, said she felt like a “little kid” stepping back into the same place where she filmed other iconic movies like The Parent Trap and Herbie: Fully Loaded.

Lohan dished on what it was like being back on set again during a recent interview with ABC’s Nightline.

“I think really for me was when I went onto the Disney lot. And being back on the Disney lot because that’s not just Freaky Friday for me,” she said. “That’s The Parent Trap, that’s Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, that’s Herbie.”

She continued, “It’s so many moments for me. So when I got there, I kind of felt like this essence of a little kid again.”

Lohan was a Disney icon back in the early aughts, starting with her roles as long-lost twins Hallie Parker and Annie James in The Parent Trap (1998). She then went on to star in Disney films like Life Size (2000), Get a Clue (2002), Freaky Friday (2003), Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen (2004) and Herbie: Fully Loaded (2005).

The star is now set to reprise her role as Anna Coleman in Freaky Friday 2, which she described as “much freakier than you would expect.” Jamie Lee Curtis, who played her onscreen mom Tess Coleman in the original movie, will also be returning for the sequel.

“Jamie and I have stayed in touch over the years,” Lohan said. “You know how they say when you have a best friend or someone you’re really close with you can not see them for years and years, but when you see them again, it’s like you never separated? I think just women supporting women is such an incredible thing.”

While Lohan couldn’t tease much about Freaky Friday 2, she did say she’s “taking guitar lessons” and has a daughter in the movie.

Plus, OG stars Mark Harmon, Chad Michael Murray, Christina Vidal Mitchell, Haley Hudson, Lucille Soong, Stephen Tobolowsky and Rosalind Chao are all slated to return.

Freaky Friday 2 is set to hit theaters at some point in 2025. In the meantime, the original movie is currently streaming on Disney+.
