Jared Padalecki and Misha Collins have made it official!
Following speculations the Supernatural duo will appear in Prime Video’s The Boys, they announced on Wednesday that guest appearances in the fifth and final season have been booked. Details on their roles are under wraps.
Padalecki and Collins will once again work opposite Jensen Ackles, their Supernatural co-star who joined The Boys in Season 3. The trio created an Instagram video to share the news.
Based on The New York Times’ best-selling comic by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, The Boys subverts the superhero genre. It imagines a present-day world where awesome avengers, controlled by the unscrupulous Vought corporation, purport to stand for “truth and justice” while secretly committing heinous acts.
The series also stars Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capone, Karen Fukuhara, Colby Minifie, Claudia Doumit, and Cameron Crovetti. Newcomers for Season 4 are Susan Heyward, Valorie Curry and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

Daveed Diggs has also joined the show for the fifth and final season alongside Stranger Things alum Mason Dye in the role of Bombsight.
Ennis and Robertson serve as executive producers alongside showrunner Eric Kripke who developed The Boys. Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Neal H. Moritz, Pavun Shetty, Phil Sgriccia, Michaela Starr, Paul Grellong, David Reed, Judalina Neira, Jessica Chou, Ken F. Levin, and Jason Netter also serve as executive producers.
The series is produced by Sony Pictures Television, Amazon MGM Studios with Kripke Enterprises, Original Film, and Point Grey Pictures.
