Location map of Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon
Hello Entlinkt.
We have on WP-fr a demand for a physical location map of Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon and I'm working on it. I see you already created the administrative one last year but the shorelines are a bit too simplified for our taste. Do you mind if I update your map, uploading a new version more detailed above yours, keeping of course your credit line? This way, both maps will have the same shorelines and lakes.

- Hi Sting, the map I did is far too inexact. I have been planning to redo it from scratch for a long time, but never found the time to do so. Feel free to replace it. There is no need credit me. (If technically necessary, I can place my version into the public domain.)
- Should the geographic limits of the map be inappripriate, feel free to change them as well. The map is used as a location map on some wikis, but only on very few pages. I'm happy to help updating them. --Entlinkt 22:40, 13. Jan. 2010 (CET)
- Thank you very much. I've finished the maps and I will upload them. I kept the same geographic limits so there will be no need to update the geolocation templates. The height of the map remains the same but its width changed due to a more precise equirectangular projection. I used the Prototype Global Shoreline Data and Landsat ETM+ imagery to make some corrections to the first and add lakes. I hope the result suits you. Greetings. Sting-de 23:30, 13. Jan. 2010 (CET)
