Process Engineer (m/f/d)

As an integral member of our Manufacturing Team, you will take the lead in bringing our production of aircraft components for our eVTOL to Industry 4.0 standards. You will oversee the manufacturing of the component from detailed conception through work preparation to component production. Throughout the entire process, you will see yourself as the point of contact for our manufacturing team.

Your tasks:

• Production planning in coordination with design, procurement, and manufacturing
• Creation of work plans and workflows
• Implementation of quality assurance measures in the production process
• Development of manufacturing concepts
• Identification of improvement measures in terms of cost, time, and quality
• Support in the implementation and optimization of manufacturing processes
• Monitoring, controlling, and risk assessment of technical issues
• Creation and maintenance of work plans and bills of materials considering material flow, manufacturing and logistics processes, process times, as well as required tools and fixtures
• Preparation of associated manufacturing documents (e.g., clamping sketches, tool lists)
• Design of clamping fixtures and manufacturing aids

Your profile:

• Completed vocational training in the field of metalworking/machining, further education as a technician, master craftsman, or equivalent degree
• Several years of professional experience in machining, as well as in CAM programming (ideally with HyperMill)
• Relevant professional experience as a production planner or similar role in manufacturing
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems
• Proactive, analytical skills, and a hands-on mentality
• Strong communication skills, sense of responsibility, and assertiveness
• Experience working in an international team with complex projects and agile working methods
