What you’ll do with “Our Training and Your Experience”

· Consult with Regional General Managers (GM) and CTC management and provide daily HR guidance.

· Analyze trends and metrics within region and developing HR programs to support Cluster managers and colleagues.

· Manage and resolve complex employment relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations if needed.

· Manage, customizing for local region, implement and administer all HR programs for region.

· Oversee the day-to-day needs of human resource support including policy interpretation and administration of policies in a fair and consistent manner.

· Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of colleagues, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with the legal department as needed/required.

· Develop and administer programs, procedures and guidelines for the cluster to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the company.

· Partner with management to communicate Human Resources policies, procedures, programs and laws.

· Determine and recommend colleague relations practices necessary to establish a positive employment relationship and promote a high level of morale and motivation.

· Monitor and advise managers and supervisors in the progressive discipline and performance improvement process.

· Review, guide, accompany and approve management recommendations for employment terminations.

· Assist managers on various HR related projects such as performance reviews, merit and bonus process, updating job descriptions, benefits communication and enrollment, rewards and recognition programs.

· Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.

· Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development).

· Work closely with management and colleagues to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.

· Responsible for delivering Leadership and Human Resource training within the region.

· Responsible for coordinating all employment related activities for acquisitions within the region including benefit and compensation analysis and all onboarding activities needed for integration.

· Administration and management of all colleague leave activities including social security, and Worker’s Compensation. Manage all coordination with payroll and outside vendors.

· Champion for one to two HR programs (may include diversity and inclusion program, social medial strategy, or other special projects).

· Participate in the interview selection process within the cluster.

· Conduct regularly scheduled meetings with VP HR Europe and General Managers in region.

· Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.


Internal Management Consultant & Colleague Advocate: The HR Manager consults with the business’s leadership and management to foster and promote the engagement of the business’s core values and culture at all levels. This role also assists management and leadership in resolving colleague relation issues, conducting effective investigations, and recommending action for sensitive and complex situations. They coach the region’s management in performance management processes, compensation and remuneration programs, recruitment practices, and management decision making. Strategy: The HR Manager plays a critical role in aligning colleagues, process, and structure to the overall business strategy. In this strategic role, the HR Manager facilitates effective implementation of new colleague management initiatives across all levels of the organization, ensuring relevancy to each team impacted.

The HR Manager reviews gaps in Cluster skill set across departments within the region and develops action plans accordingly. In this capacity, the HR Manager will analyze skill sets, certifications, conduct performance analyses and coordinate training and succession plans with local management.

The HR Manager will conduct annual planning sessions with all Regional Vice Presidents, Directors and Cluster General Managers to develop annual recruitment plans. Communicating hiring needs back to the Talent Acquisition team and support the development of sourcing strategy for the region.

Collaboration: The HR Manager collaborates with the Regional Vice Presidents and General Managers as well as other HR team members in developing various solutions to further drive business results such as recruitment plans, identifying training needs, and advocating for continuous learning for colleagues where necessary. The HR Manager also partners with stakeholders in ensuring that the best practices are being adopted, ensuring the delivery of projects as required, as well as ensuring that key deliverables are met within the specified timelines. Knowledge and Opportunity: The HR Manager maintains a clear and detailed knowledge of the industry trends, best practices, and labor legislation for region being supported. They are also very active in social, cultural, and educational projects that reflect the values and beliefs of the Convergint. The HR Manager strives to monitor and challenge existing colleague policies and procedures in the business, constantly ensuring alignment with the business’s values and the external legislations.


What You’ll Need


· Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion; maintain confidentiality.

· Ability to effectively support diverse colleague groups including: Sales, Administration and Operations/Service/Installation positions.

· Strongly demonstrated persuasive and relationship-building skills.

· Proficient knowledge of EU employment law.

· Mobility experience Europe.

· Experience with full cycle recruitment across various levels

· Utilization of sound investigation, and reporting practices.

· Experience using HRIS systems, running reports and maintaining data integrity.

· Strongly demonstrated organizational and project management skills; ability to multi-task.

· Excellently demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills.

· Experiencing mediating and managing colleague relations situations.

· Ability to partner with all levels of the organization.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Desire to design and manage the execution colleague-focused programs.

· Displays strong judgement and problem-solving skills.

· Proactive, detail-oriented, organized.

· Ability to work autonomously in an entrepreneurial environment.

· Data-driven and fact-based in decision making and producing business rationale.

· Solid project management experience.

· Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

· Prior experience leading change efforts within a fast-paced, matrix environment, geographically dispersed business unit, with rapidly shifting skills/capabilities required.

· Organization and team development experience; strong history of delivering solutions and strategies for solving hard business problems.



Requirements:

Education: College degree, trade school or equivalent experience

- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or related discipline required


Minimum Experience: 5+ years experience as an European HR generalist, HR Business Partner, HR Manager or equivalent


Language: English, German, French.
