„Starting a business in the Digital Healthcare Market is anything but a walk in the park. Everyone proclaims the Digital Transformation in Healthcare: Politicians demand it, because otherwise it will be completely embarrassing in comparison to the rest of the world. And the health insurance companies need it, at the latest with the Digital Patient Record in 2021. They also suspect that digitization will lead to increased effectiveness and thus to cost reductions, other markets have already shown us how. But Digital Healthcare Startups are only supported if they demonstrate a presentable certified product that has provided the proof of concept. The process is extremely cost-intensive and involves many barriers: Both from a regulatory and a user perspective. For what is the point of developing a digital medical product that meets a few doctors willing to change and a sick person who has to pay for the product? And even if he does, how can the digital healthcare solution be of such value that the user is willing to deal with it on a daily basis? And by the way: What about the interoperability of the systems? All stakeholders must ask themselves these questions and be prepared to share the risk of failure. This must not be carried out solely on the shoulders of Startups that research and develop excellent and highly innovative healthcare solutions. They often run out of air on the way to market entry, mostly for monetary reasons. I wouldn't know all this without my coach Dr. Sven Jungmann, because he knows what he is talking about. He has understood the ecosystem in its entirety and keeps holding my nose into those problems that are most difficult to solve. He is also a super-sympathetic fellow who even at the most impossible times meets with you to find a remedy. "Have you ever thought of that?"
