Women+ in Data and AI hat dies direkt geteilt
Last Friday I had the pleasure to attend the Women+ in Data and AI Festival in Berlin ✨ . It was an inspiring day full of insightful talks, workshops and conversations about ethical/responsible AI and the role that different perspectives play in shaping the future of this industry. A few highlights that have stayed with me: 💡Alexandra Wudel's inspiring keynote on what it takes to build trust in AI, the long road ahead and the work that FemAI is doing to bridge the gap between Responsible AI principles and practice 💡Anastasia Evsyukova's thorough and thought-provoking talk on the importance of the role of "Data & AI Product Managers": "connectors" between data teams and business stakeholders that drive data products forward. This requires different frameworks and approaches from traditional software products. Being a data scientist myself, her realistic assessment of the challenges of carrying out change management and increasing data literacy (particularly in large organisations) hit close to home for me. 💡 Simonetta Batteiger's uplifting talk on essential leadership skills in data and AI regardless of job title gave me a lot to mull over. Along with the openness, inclusivity and vulnerability of the conversation, I really valued her emphasis on identifying our individual values, the importance of getting involved in strategy discussions, and being opinionated and intentional with our time, attention and work. I also really enjoyed the conversations with other thoughtful multi-disciplinary practitioners and leaders in this space. Thank you to everyone that made this possible, gathered such amazing speakers and professionals, and created a community of practice that I hope to continue engaging with in the future. 💫 #data #ai #womenindataandai #womeninai #wdai24 #datascience
