💬 Last week’s event with MR MARVIS, B Lab and our Business Development Lead Jonne Mäkikyrö brought together some of Amsterdam’s B-Corps, sparking open discussions around sustainability and compliance. The insightful talk covered Mr Marvis’ journey with product impact calculations and its future reduction and consumer communication plans, including how Vaayu supports them in each step. 💡 The talk featured an educational segment on green claims and communication best practices, and the group showed a strong interest in product impact calculations, reduction scenario modeling and how to communicate compliantly. 💫 It was a great session for gaining clarity and building momentum toward more transparent, impactful climate communication in the B-Corp community. 🌍 Amongst recent updates in the legal landscape (click-through), yesterday also marked the start of COP29 — another year of leaders convening to discuss climate policies and the urgent need for global action. At Vaayu, we’re quietly hopeful. We recognize that the shift from dialogue to action is a long road, but we’re watching closely to see if COP29 will bring the commitments and frameworks needed to support real change. And after recent extreme weather events that hit close to home, we’re particularly interested in watching how the conference will work on operationalizing the previously agreed Loss and Damage Fund.
