Stromag’s Geared Cam Limit Switch is certified up to IP68 (5 m/ 96 h) to ensure safe and reliable operation, whether you’re operating a control system for a draw, bascule, or swing bridge, or a lock, flood, or weir gate.

Due to our long history, old artifacts from times long past turn up from time to time. In this case, space had to be created and some order books from the 1940s were discovered during the clean-up. We are planning a room in which we want to set up a small #Stromag museum. We think that one of these order books really deserves a place there!

Together we make ourselves safe! On July 04, we held a successful safety day at our Unna site. Divided into 15 groups, various departments were trained by an external safety consultant on workplace hazards, accident prevention and correct behavior in emergency situations. After this safety presentation, the groups had the opportunity to evaluate their workplaces together and work together to make their workplaces even safer! In addition, 26 fire safety assistants practiced using fire extinguishers with virtual glasses and, in cooperation with Atlas Safety Shoes, our employees had the opportunity to have insoles made for their safety shoes. Many thanks to all our employees and external parties for their great support and help in creating the safest workplace for us all!

Dennis Heine has accepted the role Global Product Manager Clutches & Brakes Division – Hydraulic Products, focusing on developing and executing product strategies to optimize, simplify and grow the hydraulic Clutch & Brake product lines aligned across the Heavy-Duty brands. Dennis will also take over the responsibility for our Stromag Geared Cam Limit Switches. For the last three years Dennis has led the Stromag Product Management team for clutches, highly elastic couplings, brakes, and discs. We wish him all the best in his new role!

We recently had the opportunity to host Jerry Morton, Executive Vice President Regal Rexnord, and his Executive Leadership Team at our production facility in Unna, Germany.
