Get to know our Fabric Center Lead: Sarah Vollmer. We are super nosy, so she kindly took some time out of her day to answer some questions about herself, her preferences and her day to day life. 𝐍𝐚𝐦𝐞: Sarah Vollmer 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Fabric Center Lead 𝐀𝐭 𝐀𝐀 𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞? Juli 2017 𝐅𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐚𝐭? I’m way more focused when I’m working from home, but I also love being in the office 1-2 days a week. It’s great to get hands-on with our beautiful materials and catch up with my awesome colleagues—best of both worlds!  𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐝 𝐨𝐫 𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐨𝐰𝐥? My 2-year-old daughter has definitely reshaped my routine. We start our days early, but because I cherish our afternoons together, I often find myself working late into the evening. I'm all about getting creative and can't wait to dive into the world of pottery! There's something so cool about turning a lump of clay into something beautiful—I’m ready to get my hands dirty and learn all the tricks of the trade! 𝐓𝐞𝐚 𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐞? Coffee 3 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐚 𝐳𝐨𝐦𝐛𝐢𝐞 𝐚𝐩𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐩𝐬𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡? Shoutout to my #bestteamever! Päivi Eräpuu and Abel Coelho are absolute rockstars, each a total expert in their field. We're all doing amazing work individually, but together? We're unstoppable! And let's not forget Julia Aruni Kirschner—our almost daily chats are not only super fun but also essential for getting my thoughts organized.

What a fantastic day the product team had, taking their collaboration from the office to the mini-golf course! ⛳ They swapped their laptops for putters and unleashed their competitive spirits on the greens. After the friendly rivalry on the course, they headed to the park where they transformed a simple picnic table into a beautifully decorated dinner spot. Surrounded by nature, they shared stories, laughter, and some amazing food. Bringing together creativity, strategy, and a dash of fun made this team event one for the books. A huge thank you to Jil Adriana Lichte, Isabel Nordbeck and Hannah Ziolkowski for organizing this great get-together. 🫶

When actors and singers start feeding chickens, jumping into lakes, or giving us a full behind-the-scenes experience in a recording booth, it can only mean one thing: It's ARMEDANGELS Denim Campaign shoot time.   This time, we had the absolute pleasure of working with Joy Denalane and Frederick Lau, and talked about what matters for a better society and planet. It's the small things—truly appreciating nature and life around us, staying connected with yourself, and treating others and the planet with respect—that is what we aimed to capture in the visuals behind this campaign. There's a changemaker in all of us.
