It is time to return to the big mountains! 🏔️ Embark on a journey back to our mountaineering roots, which began with the iconic first MAKALU – the world's first telescopic trekking pole! A legend since 1974 🙌 But there is no looking back without an homage to mountaineering pioneers Reinhold Messner and Peter Habeler, who made history as the first climbers to summit Mount Everest without supplemental oxygen. On the way up and down with them? The golden makalu - conquering peaks worldwide since 1978. Another legend was surely Ueli Steck 🧗 His dream pole included an ice axe for a lightweight 2-in-1 solution 🦯 🪓 Of course we had to make this dream come true for him. In 2012, he climbed Everest with this custom-made LEKI pole, without artificial oxygen. Today we are happy to have great mountaineers like Dani Arnold, tamara lunger or David Goettler within our #LEKIfamily. Sales Meeting Summer 2025 - it´s a wrap! Over 20 country organisations have found their way to our Headquarter in Kirchheim. We present the first globe winner of the season - Manuel Feller! LEKI Health Week 🏃🏼💨 Our health week was all about own well-being, healthy eating and sports. In addition to Nordic walking classes and fitness exercises at the desks, employees had the opportunity to take part in a back scan or a workshop on healthy eating.
