In 2015 following the establishment of a subsidiary in Bremen the previous year, a further project office was opened in Everett, USA, to enter the aviation sector. Since them, FFT has been working closely with research centers, such as ZAL Hamburg, to support technological development platforms for civil aviation with the knowledge from production engineering, to improve manufacturability.

The FFTigv Agility 3t is the dynamic transport professional of our automated guided vehicle systems (AGV). With the combination of omnidirectional movement and an integrated lift unit (stroke: 150 mm), the Agility 3t is the optimal solution for the logistical linking of your production systems. The Agility 3t has a size of 2.00m x 1.20m, a load capacity of 1.5 / 3 tons and a weight of 1.5 / 2 tons. 💡 Facts: The emergency stop switches and the 360° laser scanner on every corner as well as an optical direction indicator and warning signals ensure a high level of safety. This can optionally be supplemented by a secure 3D camera, a position detector using a QR code reader or various structures. The vehicle, which can be integrated into existing production systems, is equipped with standard industry components. This makes servicing and maintenance on site as much easier as possible. 📍Fulda

The Thüringens Süden company run took place again this year on August 28th. Our office in Schmalkalden did not miss this opportunity and once again took part with a group of runners. The company run is an annual highlight for us and has established itself as a sporting networking party. The focus is not on the athletic aspect, but on networking with each other. In addition to the run, there was a lot of fun to be had with an office chair race, a bobby car race, and a mascot race. The event ended with an after-run-party.

Good news for all colleagues who ride their bikes to work every day - the new bicycle shelter at our office in Fulda is ready. In response to requests from our everyday cyclists, we have taken care of a new shelter, which has been available since a few months. In June, a delegation from Shanghai's Jiading District, led by District Manager Gao Xiang, visited our Fulda site. The meeting provided an opportunity for further in-depth exchanges, allowing the cooperation between the two sides in the field of intelligent manufacturing and high technology to enter a new phase. Jiading District, as one of the industrial hubs of Shanghai, China, has maintained a robust growth rate in economic development. The government of Jiading District has played a significant role in the industrial development and enterprise empowerment of Jiading Park, and has also continuously focused on and supported the construction of the headquarters building of FFT's parent company, Shanghai Easun Technology Co., Ltd.

In 2014, the company was renamed to ist current name „FFT Produktionssysteme GmbH & Co. KG“ and the office space in Fulda were extended with a new building to 700 workplaces. In the same year, the FFT Group took over the highly innovative software company EKS InTec GmbH and also acquired a 51% stake in the company EDAG Werkzeug + Karosserie GmbH.

After the After Work Party in July was so well received, another After Work Party was held at our locations over the past few days. With sausages from the grill, cool drinks, music and a good atmosphere, it was a great opportunity to chat with colleagues and end the working day together. Thanks to the beautiful weather, the event was held outdoors this time as well. At FFT, we put a lot of emphasis on a good working atmosphere and are happy when such offers are well received. 

Every anniversary also includes gifts. That´s why we came up with something for our 50th anniversary. With a polo shirt in an anniversary edition, we want to make our employees happy and thank them for the past years. Last week the time had finally come: the polo shirts arrived and were distributed with great anticipation. The shirt not only stands for our joint commitment, but also for the appreciation of each individual in our team.

Our colleague Cheng Chen is the FFT contact person for #tax and #transferpricing. 🙋♂️ Before Cheng joined us, he worked in auditing for six years and decided to move into industry two years ago. At #FFT, he can put his previous experience in accounting and tax in an international context to good use in the current day-to-day business. 📊 📈 Cheng is particularly proud that he can now lead internal tax-related projects with the support and cooperation of his FFT colleagues. For him, the best thing about his job is the interesting specialist topics and the dynamic exchange with internal and external contacts. Cheng also appreciates the professional development and the fact that you never get the feeling of boredom at FFT. 😊
