Exploring the future with cloud computing at the West University of Timișoara! ✨🌥️ A team of specialists from #DRÄXLMAIER Timișoara's IT Centre had the pleasure of discussing Cloud Computing with students from the Faculty of Economics in Timișoara. It was amazing to see the interest of the students and how such initiatives contribute to education and innovation in the IT field. The students were fascinated by the way information is stored in the cloud. They were also impressed by the security and flexibility offered by cloud computing, which enables quick access to data from anywhere and at any time. At the end of the presentation, the students enthusiastically took part in an interactive competition. The best answers were awarded prizes by Radu Calomfirescu, Head of the Western Europe Region / ITC Timișoara at DRÄXLMAIER. 🎓🏅 We thank all participants for their energy and curiosity! Sports and team-building event at #DRÄXLMAIER Moldova! 🇲🇩🏅 Recently, our colleagues in Moldova showed sporting ambition and enthusiasm! 80 employees from Bălți and 55 from Cahul participated in the “Funny Starts” sports events. The competition included disciplines such as running, jumping, and sack racing. 🏃🏃♀️ With this playful competition, we celebrated and strengthened health and community. ♻️🔌🔋To increase our recycling measures and reduce our energy use at our US plant in Duncan, the local management encouraged employees this summer to submit their best ideas. Congratulations to our Summer Ideas Challenge winners Rebecca and Kay who submitted the two best ideas in the Recycling category, and to Will and Ashley whose entries were selected as the two best ideas in the Energy reduction category. Two of the biggest recruitment events in Timișoara took place recently: Career Days, organised by Politehnica University Timisoara, and Top Employers, which took place at the city's Chamber of Commerce and Industry. 🇷🇴 Students and professionals of all ages interested in a job in the automotive sector visited the #DRÄXLMAIER booth, where professionals and students from the vocational school department demonstrated the operation of a miniature production line. Our experts from the HR department as well as volunteers from the production, quality and industrial engineering departments were happy to provide information about the production technologies and high-performance equipment as well as the innovative products from Timișoara for hybrid and electric cars. Mihai Cotrău, Head of Vocational Training at DRÄXLMAIER Timișoara, gave a presentation entitled "Shaping Tomorrow: Tech Revolution in Dual Education" to the Top Employers audience. Mihai spoke about our investments in the most modern vocational training workshop in Romania at our plant in Timișoara, as well as our company's investment in the DRÄXLMAIER robotics laboratory at the Politehnica University of Timișoara. There, students can learn a profession with state-of-the-art equipment such as robots and 3D printers and learn robotics with the latest robot programming technologies. 🤩 #wecreatecharacter

🇩🇪👉🇺🇸 From Germany to the USA: The DRÄXLMAIER Group has long-standing partnerships with ice hockey teams such as EV Landshut and the Greenville Swamp Rabbits, who show passion and character on and off the ice. 🏒 Recently, our Duncan plant welcomed Alexander Steiger, President of the Landshut ice hockey team. Not only did he receive an extensive tour of our plant, but we were also able to make new connections between our two sponsored hockey teams.
