🌱 🤝 The Lviv Eco Forum, held on October 1-2, 2024, during #UkraineResilienceWeek, focused on the theme “Together Towards Sustainability”. 💧As Ukraine's largest water supply industry gathering, the forum brought together government officials, humanitarian organisations, water and energy efficiency experts, and financial institutions to discuss strategies for survival, adaptation, and development amid the ongoing war. The discussions centered on immediate infrastructure disruptions and long-term threats. The Ukrainian-German initiative Mykolaiv Water Hub (MWH) was prominently featured at the event. Hanna Slobodyanyuk-Montavon, CEO of MWH, presented key components of their work, including a master’s program for water leaders and a scholarship for girls in #STEM. On behalf of GIZ Ukraine, Jana Almes highlighted the role of the diaspora in reconstruction, showcasing Ukrainian-German diaspora initiatives and funding offers available to the Ukrainian diaspora through GIZ. #BuildBackBetter

What is better than learning? Learning together! ✨ 🔎 Recently, the MEG programme hosted two training sessions in Albania and Viet Nam, both focusing on the monitoring and reporting of impact of programme activities. 🚀 To further enrich the learning experience, both training events brought together MEG team members from several partner countries as well as key partners from Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) from Viet Nam and Albania. ✅ MEG staff members from Albania, Georgia, Kosovo, Serbia, and Ukraine also attended a training on communicating migration topics in a sensitive and gender-responsive manner. The participants gave excellent feedback and similar trainings might be planned for the future. #SharingKnowledge #Migration #Diaspora Albania Sustainable Development Organization (ASDO) GIZ Albania GIZ Viet Nam Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH
