We are very pleased to announce that we are intensifying our cooperation with RwandAir and this time it is our turn to perform the training in Kigaly! Looking forward to some intensive or shall I say “hot” 4 weeks?! As RwandAir is the national carrier of Rwanda and our cooperation started in 2022. Hands-On Training for ASISTIM Flight Operations Officers. In our vocational education programs that are based on the ICAO Doc. 10106 and the principles of CBTA, practical training will play leading role in the future. Practical hands-on training is the basis for developing the activity-based component of professional competence. We are aiming to better prepare our OCC staff, in this case Alexandra Lennard and Mirko, for their current and future role as Flight Operation Officers / Flight Dispatchers in our own Airline Operations Control Center. As part of the Basic Training FOO/FOA we implemented a practical component such as: Ground Handling Safety Airport Operations Ground Service Equipment Apron and Parking Stand Aircraft Handling A big thank you goes to the Hannover Airport for supporting us in this matter. Good to see another group of smiling faces! Congrats to the all who participated in the March Initial FOO Course in Hannover. We cannot stop repeating what an achievement this is. Our program is quite challenging and for the most participants English is not their native language. The 4-week course, based on the #icao Doc 10106, does covers a substantial amount of subjects such as:   + Meteorology / Navigation     + Civil Air Law & Regulations + Aircraft Systems and MEL   + Aircraft Mass (Weight) and Balance     + Operational Procedures + Principles of Flight + Human Factors … and it requires the participants to stay focused over quite a stretch of time. Yaro is studying “Aviation Operations Officer” at the at the MBO College Centrum in Amsterdam and has chosen ASISTIM for his mandatory five moths internship experience. The primary purpose of our partnership with MBO College Airport in the Netherlands is to offer an academic internship that will allow students to better understand the theories, ideas, and practices of commercial aviation by actively engaging in a "hands-on," work-based, learning experience. Its head office is located in Shymkent International Airport in Şymkent, Kazakhstan. It operates a fleet of 33 aircraft and provides services to all major cities of Kazakhstan, its neighboring countries and Europe. The airline was established and started operations in 1997. Its name is the acronym of Special Cargo Air Transport. SCAT also founded Sunday Airlines as a new charter venture and subsidiary, for which SCAT operates four Boeing 757-200s and one Boeing 767-300ER.
