- Xtabay (también llamada X'tabay, X-tabay, Ixtabay, Xtabai o Xtabal), nombre maya de una mujer mitológica. La partícula x en idioma maya, en este caso, indica género femenino pues es apócope de ix, que significa mujer. En el Códice de Dresde, aparece una mujer muerta por ahorcamiento a la que se ha llamado "Xtab", de donde algunos decían que la Xtabay era la diosa de los ahorcados, pero no se habían encontrado elementos para validarlo.
