- The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) is the only stock exchange of Nepal. As of May 2022, the equity market capitalization of the companies listed on NEPSE was approximately रू334,357 crore (US$26 billion). The basic objective of NEPSE is to impart free marketability and liquidity to the government and corporate securities by facilitating transactions in its trading floor through member, market intermediaries, such as broker, market makers etc. NEPSE opened its trading floor on 13 January 1994. As of November 2022, 190 companies are listed on the exchange, which includes commercial banks, hydro-power companies, insurance companies, and finance companies among others. Pada 4 April 2008, kapitalisasi pasar saham dari perusahaan terdaftar di NESPE adalah AS$3.658.390.000. Indeks pasar saham utama NEPSE adalah . Tujuan dasar NEPSE memberikan pemasaran dan likuiditas bebas kepada pemerintah dan efek korporat dengan memfasilitasi transaksi di lantai bursa melalui anggota, perantara pasar, seperti broker, pembuat pasar dll. NEPSE membuka lantai bursa pada 13 Januari 1994. Pada November 2010, NEPSE memiliki 266 perusahaan terdaftar, yang meliputi Bank Komersial, Perusahaan Listrik Hidro, Perusahaan Asuransi dan Perusahaan Keuangan antara lain.
